Most of us didn't argue that Poulsen was the wrong kind of player to join us, and we were all as disappointed as you were when he turned out to be THE buy.

You calling Poulsen a bullshit transfer was initially because we didn't need another midfield destroyer, not because of his supposed lack of quality.

Now that he's doing worse than we thought, you can't simply take credit for predicting this as well. Make up your mind, Andy.

I also questioned Poulsen's quality with the ball, which was certainly justified because he's not as good as people make him to be. But you, as always, don't pay attention to details.

Either way, Poulsen is a bullshit signing.

Agreed. I would wait a little until writing him off as a bullshit player, however.

Poulsen isn't a bullshit player insofar as he does a good job as a DM. But as somebody who is supposed to work in a straight 4-4-2 along with someone like Sissoko, he isn't the right guy for the job. I think people overrate his passing ability.

He's a much better fit for Sevilla.

We would certainly be in better shape without a doubt, I'm fairly certain on that.

But we couldn't buy Alonso as Liverpool couldn't get Barry.

Still, to resort to Poulsen was an amazing error that clearly reeks of lack of understanding.

Xabi was exactly what our midfield needed this season. Next season we will need the same and more.. Those quick fixes only bring us more problems.
