Whatever. Things wouldn't have panned out exactly the same as they have now if we had of done things differently. Who says if we had have put the money towards buying Diego for example we would have had an injury crisis with the midfield?

Considering Poulsen has been injured for a lot of the season I fail to see how your argument is vaild.

You said it was a mistake to concentrate on adding depth to the squad, instead of strengthening the best XI.

If extra depth had not been added, there is no way the club could have done as well as they have this season, given the number of injuries there have been to key players.

 what does buying Diego have to do with our injury crisis? I fail to see how your argument is valid too.
You missed the point completely. I'm saying if things were done differently in the past then that doesn't mean the things that are happening now would be happening. It's hard to explain what I mean, but the Diego thing was just an example.

As long as Poulsen is a Juve player he'll have my support but that doesn't mean I have to agree he was a good buy at the time.

But you cant deny that valuable players tend to be more... reliable...
at least comparing to the cheap/free players we are getting.
Tiago, Almiron, Andrade, Grygera and Poulsen have a lot more chances to flop than Diego, Sissoko and even Amauri, in the same team, under the same circumstances!
We can add depth at any time, using free players or our youngsters, but we cant buy champions everyday. We should have respected our limited resources more than we did. We risked too much on quantity.

When we should invest on quality instead. Are old guard is getting old and we cant replace them within a day, to remain competitive we need to have a good concentration of top quality material. Players able to make the difference when we face the Udineses of the league and for some reason, Camo, Chiellini and DP are not there. A whole pack of Almirons,Stendardos,Zebinas,Andrades,Marchionnis, Molinaros,Grygeras,Poulsens,Tiagos,Knezevics, are good as nothing! They ve proved that many times over! They are never there to provide any real support.
I would happily trade all of them with a Zapata, an Alonso and a Diego.
You want depth, bring more youngsters in, you want quality? You have to invest!

We are supposed to be in a very unique moment in our history, Juve has never been crippled that much before, at least as long as i live. Major investment and a plan with vision could easily make us competitive by now.
With our gifted youngsters, our thirst and are retiring champions, success wouldnt be that far as it is now.
By the time we will add those payers we need, are old champions will retire.

It's just a question of how you see it. I, like the Board, consider adding depth the best starting point and then going for top class signings. You have to be patient this way, but it guaranteed CL football.

If you had gone for two or three top players, if you were lucky, you could win the scudetto. If you were unlucky with injuries, you could miss out ont the CL.

Just a question of risk versus reward, and I can't blame the Board for taking the safer option.

actually who rated tiago lower than sissoko before they signed for juve? or such proven international players as andrade, poulsen and grygera lower than amauri, who didn`t had the most impressive scoring rate when he signed and was never called for his NT? i think the expectations of tiago from many fans were much higher than from sissoko, u can`t blame board because one of them under, but the other overperformed.

It was only Del Piero and Nedvbed who did it. The rest were watching and applauding.
