BREAKING NEWS: Zenit-Juventus Game At Risk After Explosion Kills Three

Tonight's Champions League tie could be postponed after a car blew up this morning in Saint Petersburg killing three people.

According to the Russian minister for Emergency Situations, the explosion was caused by a grenade that was being carried by one of the four passengers of the car.

A child was reportedly among the victims, while the fourth man was injured.

It all happened in the Udelnaia Metro area, in the northern side of the city, not far away from Zenit’s training ground.

The Champions League clash between the Russians and Juventus was expected to kick-off at 18.30 pm CET tonight, and both teams will now await UEFA’s decision.

My deepest condolences to the families of the victims, but postponing the game just because someone was stupid enough to carry a grenade with him/her doesn't make any sense.

    I don't think what happened has anything to do or related to football? Because I hear it's pretty far from Stadium.

    Not entirely. There might be a risk of something happening inside the stadium.
