I'm not taling about a Reggina type team. I think they settle to be a Udinese or even a Fiorentina.
Fiorentina and Udinese aim to be higher than mid-table teams but they don't have the potential/finances to do so. And with Fiorentina it's not the case anymore. Stop reading gsol's "articles", trust me there is not much truth in them.

I'm saying they settle to be a club that makes a profit and don't give a rats ass about club performance because for them they have "better" things to worry about.

I'm not the one putting only +-15m € in the mercato this season for example.

I make my own opinion and don't need gsol or other people to influence me.

Mark my friend, no offense, but you are bizzarely paranoid to believe that BS.

How about the most logical reason, they are considerably more imcompetent they they thought them to be when hired? And those who hired them being in a stressful sitaution and just choosing quickly what was at hand, and failing to notice (due to their own imcompetence), that these men werent the right people for the job. It doesnt need to be a conspiracy though to think the current owners of the club dont care much for the club at all. That doesnt mean they are deliberately sabotaging us...

Of course this could be true and yes I am paranoid but I can't believe intelligent(well, I though they were) could hire all these incompetent people.

Yeah, they had the pressure and not a lot of time but I would think they'd have some plans brewing with the Moggi to Inter or Milan talks started.

You have to factor in after so long with having someone like Moggi who got out of control and who they really couldnt have in check, they just took people, they thought would be ok enough to steer the club (plus prolly not having alot of choices and just going with two clutz within the club, and a frenchy with an impressive CV), but most importantly would be much easier to control. And would have little to no risk of going outside the reservation to say the least (Gigli for example just a former fiat office rat who i just a the face out, easy to control, think his contract is running out too).

And also, an important point is they wanted totally new people out of PR reasons, because it was such a paranoia in Calciopoli that anyone working in italian football was getting quite the skeptic treatment of being semi-dirty by association just for working in that football "inviroment". So they probably wanted just a clean slate just for appearance sake (their catch phrase was the new Juve being propogated), and not risk getting veterans of calcio because of not being perceived to get the same old, even if its the most honest person in the world and one who would be great for us (it was a total witch hunt that just by working in this bussiness you got grilled, Lippi was frigging defamed, any innocent player was threatend to be sued etc). Plus no offence, but even if we are a biggiest Italian club, I dont think the most competent and rated people were queuing up to work for us after that scandal.

I really dont know hardly much if any of the direct details (was too busy being devastated) so scusi for the rant , for example I dont even know who Montezemulo or whatever is. But besides thinking the current owners not caring for the club much IMO (except in pragmatic way) to want to invest, I just think the above may be reasons they acted upon with. They themselves arent probably that competent (footballing wise, financially astute probably, even if Fiat isnt doing that great with the current generation), and there is alot of scheming we dont know about. But mainly think they were too busy and insanely pressured to doing damage control, and hence getting totally new non football people being vital for them to restart, not just in a concrete way, but was probably important for them to have a clean slate for appearance sakes (the bussiness world dies and lives with reputation, and ours was totally tanked).

Everything you say makes sense, so what do we do with all these incompetents?

I would field this team against real:

    Manninger

Grygera --- Legro --- Chiellini --- De Ceglie

    Sissoko ---Marchisio

    Nedvěd

    Giovinco - - Del Piero

    Amauri

I just hope Legro can make it. than again DC should start ahead of Moli, but.

We have no other choice in DM position, so Sissojo and marchisio should start. a lot will depend on these guys.

Nedvěd is completly out of form, but he will play, but I´d play him as a trequartista, so he can concentrate more in the attacking phase. Than Gio and DP as a SS. and they can help a lot in midfielks as well.

Hope that the owners who frankly clearly isnt that commited to the club more then as a bussiness venture, get to their senses and realise they need real competent people to steer their asset (probably didnt get top competent people also because they dont want anyone authorative questionning them or making demands of ambitious investment. The same reason this management got Ranieri...).

Hopefully they will realise this before we hit new lows, and miss out on CL, or sadly have very patient and passionate players like Buffon wanting to leave because dumb ass fucks run our club...

Its frustrating to see this train wreck, and its so senseless so I get the reason of why one leans on paranoia. But sadly imcompetence is most of the type just fucking annoying imcompetence.

P.S Who is Montezemulo?( I know I am misspelling, just guessing).

You have to forgive me because I could never use the word incompetence and Juve in the same sentence in the past. :p

Montezemolo is Ferrari and FIAT's president along with other things. He's close with the Elkanns.

Yeah I read up on the bugger, are we suppose to hate him? ;)

He is apparently vice President of Bologna (and generally quite influential in Italy). Isnt usually someone who runs Fiat supposed to be close to Juve when it comes to clubs? We really have passed the days of the Agnelli gentlemen.

    Alex believes in united Juve

    Monday 20 October, 2008
Alessandro Del Piero has faith that Juventus will step up to the mark against Real Madrid and escape their current crisis.

Claudio Ranieri's job is hanging by a thread after Saturday's defeat against Napoli.

Many people believe that Ranieri will be axed if the Old Lady fail to see off Real Madrid in tomorrow's Champions League game.

“We have a great desire to react and I'm sure that everyone will do whatever they can to get through this tough time,” Del Piero said.

“It wasn't a lack of desire that cost us on Saturday. We worked hard in the week, but the process is a slow one in reality.

“Games like tomorrow evening's can inspire us. It's not about the future of the club or the Coach but about all of us.

“We all know that we can give something extra - we are all on the same ship and we will succeed together.”

He did? I hate everyone on that company, even the hilarious guy that had the job of listening in to Vieri's phone sex with Elisebeth Canalis ;)

P.S His Wiki page says he is Vice Pres for Bologna.

Not as if there was a person at Juve who went around with the same signature as you a couple years ago, whose initials are "DD"... :rolleyes2
