There was no room for Ekdal on the list. Tiago took his place.

I agree that Nedved would be a better option in the middle, but Rossi hasn't even played for us in a competitive game yet (maybe a few minutes, can't recall).

Honestly? He couldn't be much worse. CM is not Salihamidzic's natural position. I'm not a fan of his passing or game reading abilities either.
