I just wonder about J.M.
If he is good - play him
If he isnt - Why did we accepted the deal to begin with.
My impression is that he is good, sometimes does the unexpected which could result in an opening or a mistake that could lead to counter attack.
His defensive skills needs improvement but on the other hand he is not preferred to unatural selections Kalulu and McK so it makes me wonder
my guess is that’s the reason he isn’t starting. I mean he’s obviously better than McKennie and Kalulu going forward.

David behind Openda? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Unless it's just 2 attackers which would be something we didn't see here in a long time.

Missing the first half thanks to Deutsche Bahn… well you never know with Deutsche Bahn if you’ll miss more

lineup's better than usual. i'd rather have had openda as a CF, but i don't see david as a second striker at all. i think they will naturally settle with yildiz more in the middle between the lines and openda closer to david up front.

David openda and yildiz are all interchangeable, doubt any of them will be stuck in one area so it really doesnt matter where theyre written at on paper.
Exactly! I would have preferred to see Openda - Vlahovic as this line up has almost no aerial presense/threat in the box but I am still excited!
