This was an important match, in order to secure europa league money.
From now on we can use our subs.
We all new that we didnt have the quality to compete in europe after Marotta has failed again to improve us where we suffered the most and we would be disqualified before Conte was given the chance to make yet another miracle...

What happens if Shakhtar beat Nord 3-0 and lose 1-0 to us while we draw with Chelsea?
Chelsea qualify with 11pts
Juve and Shakhtar 10 points same goal diff but 10-5 of Shakh vs Juve`s 9-4 (case of 0-0 with Chelsea) who will qualify?
How it is now:
Shaktar - 7 points - 4 games
Chelsea - 7 points - 4 games
Juve - 6 points - 4 games

If Shaktar and Chelsea win against FC Nordsjælland:
Shaktar - 10 points - 5 games
Chelsea - 10 points - 5 games
Juve - 6 points - 4 games

Let's say we win against Chelsea and draw Shaktar (it could also be beating Shaktar and losing against Chelsea):
Shaktar - 11 points - 6 games
Juve - 10 points - 6 games
Chelsea - 10 points - 6 games

We are going through this way because we're better head to head against Chelsea. It's the same thing if we draw Chelsea and win against Shaktar. :)

The good thing about Chelsea beating Shaktar is that our chance to win the group is much larger now. The bad thing is that the chance to get through on a second place is smaller.
:)

So if we beat Chelsea and Shakhtar beats Nordsjaelland then both us and Shakhtar need just a draw to go through? :klin:

Relax people. If we win against Chelski the game with Shahktat will be 90min passing the ball left and right. they are not idiots to risk elimination and neither are we.

Win or bust guys. It only hurts more if you lose in the semis than in the group stages. we can win it and if we are serious about it this two matches will show that.

They are because those conditions are normal thing for them after years of playing there, while our players maybe play 1 game like that a year.
I wouldn't give them such an advantage. Sure they are more adapt to playing in Donetsk in the middle of the lovely russian winter, but their best players are brazillians and Turin isn't exactly Palermo or Cagliari either.

We win in Ukraine 1-0, goal by Del Piero, a free kick from Sidney (with love) ;)

how are we in big trouble? if we beat chelski and shaktar win against the danes we hold our own fate and thats the best you can ask for at this point in the group.
if we go out of cl bc we couldnt win against NS i am never gonna forget it. still getting pissed thinking about it. the big trouble is getting atleast 1 point, against possibly the best team in our group, away in a cold fucking country.

Can anyone give me a link to the ruling of who qualify in case of equal points cause I see different statements about it
one says goal diff the other head to head

I know the Danes are a bit awful, but I liked the response to the end of that 49 streak. MVP performed a lot closer to their potential, and there were others on the pitch that put in positive contributions in certain ways (Bonucci, Isla, Quagliarella).

This Juventus has a lot more character than a few members of this forum are giving it, I really think Conte can make this team peak in the last two games.

this group is the hardest imo. there are basically 3 teams and we are playing with a two point handicap. if we get through we will win it. It is meant to be.

You would be right if those brazillians were just bought in july. Unfortunetly they are playing in Donetsk for years and even though they are a southern nation they got used to it. Fernandinho plays there since 2005, Willian since 2007, Teixeira since 2009. And of course they are actually living there which makes adjusting even easier. Meanwhile our players will be shocked by those conditions. Well we can hope that winter comes late this year.
