Great to see that no matter which generation of players we have out there, we may be able to put together a backs to wall, grinta type of performance that runs in the DNA of the club.
Also, praise to Motta for a strong defensive plan that adapted in the second half by practically having the team defend in a 5 without the ball, largely a man marking job of KDB when central and a type of front four covering a vertical pass in between the lines when they had it in their own half to force it into wide areas giving us time to bunker in again.

chico, kalulu, savona, thuram and koop were only decent, not excellent. koop and savona were even pretty bad in the first half, both got back in the game after the break
everyone else in the starting lineup though, pretty much flawless. hard to pick a mom, many players had important moments. di gregorio saved a sitter (their only one), gatti made the opener possible, loca had multiple crucial blocks and tackles, yildiz assisted the winner and was a threat all along while defending when it was needed, dusan scored the winner, danilo didn't put a foot wrong. probably the game with the most high level displays by jj players this season. and let's. it forget the two muricans creating the 2nd, that was one almost perfect counter. no complaints
