I always expect Stuttgart 2.0 to happen any time. I am still not sure how that was the only game of the season where we were dominated. A collective food poisoning that they kept secret?

Damn we have finally have depth in attack

Could that be the game changer?
but no depth in defense

cl is more open so might not be an issue but i'm overall more worried about the amount of goals we're leaking than about the ones we're not scoring. drawing 2-2 multiple times against teams like bologna, parma or fucking venezia is just unacceptable on the long run

We need to sign more defenders.

But I am way way way more worried about our ability to score, then I am about our ability to defend.

We still have one of the best defensive records in league despite mediocre season and sitautional collapses end of games. But as soon as team ties us in a game, we never look like we have any clue how to attack and score.

injuries ruined our attack. with chico, nico, mbamgula, yildiz, weah and koop all available, kolo muani to provide some depth, and with a motivated, healthy vlahovic i think we're good. that's a competent attacking lineup

your points are valid but we can bring any attacker to motta, it won't be significantly better. mercato wise we need a vice vlahovic in attack, the rest is on motta and the physio team

in defense i think we need at least two quality players and based on the rumors, we're very likely to be disappointed with at least one of them

Very often subs end up being game changers in tight games

Weah sub changed the game against Milan last week

This is the first time this season we have a full list of subs to choose from except for Milik but we have Muani as backup now.

Mbangula and Weah's good form this season has increased our depth on the wings so in an inconsistent season, this is one of the positives to take from.

I get all of that. But issue is I dont think the issue of our scoring is due to mainly quality (as it is for defence), but due to attitude of coach and the tactics. He hasn't instilled real gameplan or urgency to the players at offensively.

Which is why I want real CFs as option in case of injuries, to not already weaken an already severely flawed offense.

Wow what an experiment :cronios:

In Brugge Juventus could debut a 4-2-4 formation that would see both Koopmeiners and Douglas Luiz paired together in the midfield (@SkySport

I can't possibly imagine what that would look like. I assume Douglas Luiz would be one of the two CMs and Koop would be LW? :boh:
