Bayern-Inter match was wierd. Inter was most of game out of ball like we did in past when we did matter in europe and scored when they could. Still i m not sure about 2nd leg Bayern s not dead and its only 1 goal advantage.60-40 for merda
In case of RM-Arsenal i dont see chance RM could get back from 3:0. They are not balanced at all. Lose too many goals even in LaLiga and Barcelona already picked them apart 2 times this season 4-0 and 5-2. Even if they get home game and score goals Arsenal will get goals in 2nd leg as well. 90-10 for Arsenal

Every club has a decline at some point. The years between 2002 to 2013 were a nightmare for R.Madrid. Great clubs always restore their status and return to their level.
Yeah, that’s true but getting back to the top takes real planning and proper management, and that’s exactly what Juve’s lacking right now. Look at United, they’ve been “on their way back” for nearly 15 years. Same with Milan. If Juve doesn’t end up stuck in that same loop with this kind of management by Elkann and Giuntoli, we’ll be lucky.

hate to say this but If Merda makes it to the final, it would actually be good for us too :cronios: In that situation, Serie A would probably get the fifth Champions League spot, and our chances of making it to the UCL would be higher.

from 2002 till 2013 they won la liga 3 times. not the nightmare scenario at all especially when considering who their main rival was barca lead by ronaldinho then messi. not comparable to juve at all who is going on it's 5th year of no major trophy and potentially becoming a europa league level team this season.

First time he scored from them apparently
Surprising given how accurate his corners have been earlier this season. Haven't seen much of Arsenal apart from highlights, so guessing somebody else (Saka and then Odegaard?) was taking most of the freekicks.

A few seasons ago Madrid were battered by Man City, but they came back strong to win it again. The team is needs a few small tweaks and I'm sure they'll be favourites again next year. Still, they're not out yet. I can see Arsenal getting trashed in the second leg, they really need to get some more goals or they'll get eliminated. Arsenal are big time chokers.

Their results in CL. They spent a huge money and bought Kaka, Van der vaart, Nistelrooy and etc but with a massive failure and trophyless in the CL.

I don't watch Arsenal but according to my brother, this win is massive considering all kinds of injuries they have at multiple positions (for example Merino asked to play as a CF, or Partey, an injury prone player, asked to play as a CB at one point earlier of the season, or many season ending injuries, Gabriel Jesus and Calafiori come to mind, or Saka has just come back after injury, etc.) It's been 3 years in a row Arsenal got the most points when playing against the EPL big six. They score a lot of goals from corners. He said only Aston Villa know how Arsenal play, not other CL teams. If you watched the game today, you would see that it could have been a heavier loss for RM, not just 3-0.

It doesn't work like that.
All three of Inter, Lazio, and Fiorentina will have to do great until the end, while on the other end, at least two of Real, Barca, Betis and Bilbao need to be eliminated asap, while the other two mustn't do great.
Spain already has 1.5 coefficient pts advantage. In real points that's 12 pts. That more or less means that as a collective the three remaining Italian teams will have to win 12 more pts than the four remaining Spaniards until the end of these competitions, where a win brings you 2 pts and a draw 1 pt. That's already improbable and if only one of Lazio, Inter and Fiorentina fucks up it will become impossible.

I mean that first Inter goal ffs I miss that kind of swag and quality in our team. Reminds me of Allegri's first Juve.
Indeed. It reminded me of Higuain-Dybala.
Now imagine Vlahovic and Koop in place of Thuram and Lautaro. Vlahovic would have made that pass only if he tried to shoot, missed entirely, and the ball accidently ricocheted of him. And in the rare occasion Vlahovic didn't fall like a bitch and somehow pulled off the pass (accidently or not), Koop would have launched it straight into Austria.

Permaban @Lion if Inda wins CL

I think I might quit watching the sport altogether if they go on to win it.

Cant be a bigger humiliation than Inda winning it before us. A decade of dominating the league, pillaging Serie A clubs, signing Ronaldo and still couldn't get it done.

Meanwhile an Inda team thats barely surviving financially year on year somehow goes on and wins it. What a nightmarish situation and what a nightmare season it's turning out to be.

Cant we just have another first time winners please ffs? Forza Arsenal and PSG.
