Apart from obvious infrastructural issues, Italians really need to reflect and maybe tweak their approach to football as well especially in an era where rules are being altered to suit attacking football.
It doesn't come as a surprise that the only Italian team to win a European trophy in the last 10 years are the ones that changed their approach in Atalanta.
There are so many clubs now that are just stockpiling their teams' with attacking talents, playing more aggressively, making it easier to breach strong, sturdy defenses. The era of 1-0 and shut up shop is over, at least in Europe.
All it takes is one of the big 3 (Jj, Inda, Milan) to tweak their philosophy a little bit and the rest of Serie A will follow suit. Need to adapt with the times.
