Celtic are going for 3 points against Real Madrid, and we're gonna fuckin get them. This is the game Celtic Park becomes a fortress again like it was until 2012. Postecoglu about to become a household name @Bianconero_Aus

Fake fanning the Juve game to watch Celtic at a supporters' pub. Every round I'll miss one game of one of my two teams. Fucked by UEFA@Lion
I wish Ange was our coach. Maybe he’d whip these fucking losers of ours into something half-decent.

What a mentality he is. Taking the game to Real Madrid and not showing an ounce of fear. Kudos.

Don't Celtic pretty much do that in every home game against a Euro giant? Whip the crowd up as the underdog and go for it. Generally they lose or draw but occasionally get a famous victory. Looks like a loss now though.

Have to say though, does look like the strongest Celtic side for some years, and I think Rangers' growth has helped that, because they have had to step up a level rather than beating the rest of the SPL each season, which is basically combative but shite.

You know your stuff.

Seems like a typical Scottish football performance. Try to get the crowd in a frenzy to push you on, have a few half chances and think you are dominating then get picked off by the better team when you tire. I've seen it many times with the national team and the clubs.

Ange seems to have one style of football which works very well against the dross in the league by playing at a high tempo because they have far better players. In European football they got knocked out of all 3 competitions last season and have lost their first game today. I actually think they have a chance of sneaking through but it will depend on Leipzig and Shakhtar.

Are you Barry Ferguson? Celtic play with a singular philosophy but different approach depending on who is in the team. Most obvious example is the switch of play if it's Kyogo or Giakoumakis playing.

Last year was Ange trying to scrounge something out of a fanbase scarred by the mess Lennon left and almost an entirely new squad of players many of which didn't share a language. This year is the real test for this team and we obliterated Rangers at the weekend, and for 45 minutes were outplaying Real Madrid. With a bit more luck (in the CL you're always relying on riding your luck, especially 4th seed vs reigning champions) we would have been leading at half time.

@JuveJay you're right, but before 2012 it was more than 'occasionally' that we got a result in Europe at home. We were unbeaten for years, collecting scalps including Milan, Man Utd, Barcelona and also Juventus. It was a proper fortress. In this game it wasn't an illusion that we were dominating. We were on top of Madrid in the first half. More shots, shots on target and pressing them up to pass around their own box. Ancelotti tweaked something at halftime and fucked us, 2nd half was a different game. The bastard.

Anyway im drunk and been talking about Celtic all night with other overemotional celtic fans. I'm emotional and I love Celtic FC. No offense to anybody I've mentioned

To be fair when they beat Juventus it was 21 years ago, we had already qualified and rested a lot of players (Carini, Maresca, Zenoni, Paramatti all started, Del Piero played only 45mins, replaced by Trez, Frara was a sub).
