Main and only real difference is that they were owned by people from their own countries, so it feels like a victory for those countries and clubs, a local identity in fact.

Random Chinese, Arab, American owners means it'll never be the same, but that's just sport. Not that foreign supporters care of course.

Oh, and despicable human rights record of said shitholes, but I appreciate that those things don't matter depending on POV/whataboutism.

Aside, that was one of the first finals I watched, I think. The one I know that sticks out the most is 1999's; still why I hope Old Trafford gets invaded by Wagner troops.

About Wagner troops invading Old Trafford, it would have to be something else as I'm fairly sure the Wagner group won't be able to do the job lol.
