Inter are out which means more money should we qualify against Villareal.
Seeing Inter putting up a fight against Liverpool makes it tougher should we get the exit against the Spaniards.

This is the year boyzzzz. We will crush the CL like Chelsea did in 2012. By playing shit football and getting lucky wins against superior opposition. I can already see it happening :max::euromax::allegri:.
One difference though.. Chelsea were crap until one point that changed them.
We were crap and are still playing like crap. I see no chance unless a sudden change comes and it should happen now..

I don't know what match some of you watched rating merda but I saw Liverpool lose a game they should have won hitting post 3 times.
We can do better than merda.
One thing I'm worried about with Allegri is he needs to change the way we play in CL or Vlahovic will get isolated as he has been in th league. Needs more support and service.
Teams like pool, though quick, will give you chances to find space around and in the box as they transition from attack to defense and this is our, and in particular Vlahovics bread and butter.

Edin Dzeko, Robin Gosens and Felipe Caicedo remained on the bench throughout at Anfield, so did Inter really give it their all to win?

“I had a few fitness issues as well as being down to 10 men. Hakan Calhanoglu was tired, Dzeko will be very important in Turin, so I had to make other calculations. I wasn’t trying to protect the 1-0, I was trying to keep it in the balance to the end so we could snatch it with a set play.

did he really not sub in dzeko for at least 20 minutes because they'll play toro on sunday? really?

Chelsea was obviously better than current Juventus but they got incredibly outplayed in both semifinals and in the final and even had even games in the quarterfinals against Benfica. It's honestly a miracle they won that year.

I really dislike Real's team on the paper. Despite their performances it just reeks mediocrity. I can't believe how strong they used to be compared to this pile of trash.
Compared to what they used to be, yes. They are still not a "mediocre" side though, just full of aging WC players. Modric at 36 is still one of the very best midfielders in the world.

I sadly think PSG will advance mainly because of the absence of Casemiro and Mendy. If I were Poch, I'd move Mbappe to the right hand side to take full advantage of Marcelo playing.

PSG simply looks way better than Real in all fields. When their players pass, hold the ball and move they are like 3 classes above Real. Deserved lead and they should go through surely.
