Ole practices black magic. There’s no other explanation. I’ve never seen anyone luckier than him.
I’ve said it many times, whenever the United board are ready to sack him he manages to get the right result to stay in the job.

It happens again and again, like you said, I can’t remember a manager being more lucky than him.

the surprising part is that Messi has more goals than Ronaldo in CL
He did have better but the roles shifted. Although he still got better stats I believe.

Gasperini :Some in Italy even managed to say he was a problem, imagine Ronaldo as a problem! He rarely gets it off target, half the time he scores, half the time it is saved.

Impressive but Ronaldo, Messi, Ibra and Benzema all started in their teens in the CL. Ibra and Benzema also played for smaller teams (Ajax and Lyon). Ronaldo was also a winger.

Still an impressive goals/game ratio though.
Agree, but Lewa also played for Dortmund and hammered 4 goals past Real Madrid in the 2013 semifinal.

With that said, Messi and Ronaldo started at the top earlier and also played as a winger/playmaker which of course influence the overall stats.

But I think it's fair to say we're witnessing a historic striker in Lewandowski. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if he reach 100 goals in the CL. He just seems to get better and better with age.

Your praise for Lewandowski is fair, he's an excellent player but Ronaldo at Madrid won 3x CLs in a row and those kinds of achievements are unheard of. Those 8-2 Barcelona battering matches are great but Bayern really needs to win more CLs before Lewandowski gets to Messi/Ronaldo levels of recognition. I'm not dissing, just stating hard facts.

But I never compared him to Messi and Ronaldo? :shifty:

I said "he's an historic striker". Messi and Ronaldo aren't strikers and of course are they the two best players of this generation - maybe even of all time.

But Lewa is one of the best strikers of all time.

With the qualification to the round of 16 of the #ChampionsLeague, #Juventus have secured almost €25mln that will be added to the initial 51mln for the participation in the competition and another 11.2mln bonus for the 4 victories that can increase in the next 2 games.
