I would say red no matter if the ball was first - this is leg breaking tackle in my opinion. When u dive into a tackle like this one u cant touch ur opponent.

Regarding the finals - yeah he lost CL, also cup and supercup, but he also won plenty vs Bayern. When u consider the bugdets of two teams then its really worth noting - its like we would loose to Napoli.
