Is it head-to-head or goal differential used first for a tie-breaker? And do away goals matter?

Inter and Tottenham level on 7 points with -1 goal differential. Head to head is 2-2, but Tottenham has an away goal. If they both win their last match, but Inter has better goal differential by beating PSV by more than Tottenham beats Barca, who goes through?

Inter losing always makes me smile. Too bad they’re still going to make the round of 16.

“CL favourite” Liverpool are in big danger now.
Inter will definitely beat PSV at home while Tottenham will need Barcelona to field a 2nd team and play in a careless way in order to win..
I see Tottenham drawing this one but Inter will beat PSV anyway..

Away goals do matter.

Tottenham will not win in Barcelona, but Inter will fuck it up against PSV .
They've been pretty mediocre this year. Hard to say what line-up Barcelona will field seeing as they already have 1st place wrapped up and are struggling in the league (to a degree). If they rest Messi, etc, or a couple other important players, Spurs could surprise.

Naah.. I cant see it happening.. Inter already dispossessed PSV in their away game so I see no reason why an already eliminated PSV should provide any problem for Inter..

Aren't both Manchester sides already through? :shifty:
I think he meant any team and not every team

Don't forget that match is 4 days after their match against Juve in J Stadium, so perhaps we can help :)

Me not. Hope PSG go out tonight.

But they won‘t. PSG will win tonite and in the end Napoli will end 3rd, bc they will lose in 2 weeks against Liverpool. (Even possible? @campionesidd )
Napoli go out if they lose 1-0 or if they lose by 2 or more goals. This is assuming that PSG beats Red Star in Serbia. The really interesting scenario is if Liverpool win and PSG draw. All three teams will have 9 points.
