So if Ajax presses, you just put big striker and punt ball to him? Hmm what a thought. You mean, Blind can't cope with a big striker? Wonder if we have a big striker who is good with his head laying around anywhere...

Yes, you just laugh, but Liverpool have 3 more CL titles than us (one being won "just" 14 years ago) while we havent won for 23 years. Also, this is their (Klop's) 2nd CL final in three years and by the looks lf it, they(Klopp) are going to win it. They have amazing young talent, especially in defence, all thanks to Klopp and by the looks of it, they are set for the future.

Yes, they havent won the Premier League ina very long time, but they were really unlucky several times and also, Premier League has been the most difficult league to win since 2004 and since then the competition there has been insane.
Remind me how hard it is to get past barcelona, real madrid and athletico between 2005 - 2017

It's been getting more like that as the years pass. Always suited attacking teams but gets more frantic and open games, doesn't suit defending at all. It's madness now and about taking chances.
I have the weird feeling that these gungho headless chicken physical teams would defeat prime defensive teams

A new counter needs to be found for this style

Like we did against athletico ? Punt it to manbro/ronaldo and have midfield runners pick it up and wreak havoc by crossing it again ?

Damn son of sons

Does only work with actual good midfield runners tho

A cancelo assist came to mind

Says the guy who spent all year advocating benching Mandzu and starting Dybala as F9. :lol3:

I'd like to think the premier rounded teams from the 90s and 00s would just pick them off on counters, because they all had top forwards as well. But it's a best guess.

Actually not F9. A real 9, as a poacher, no touches in midfield. :)

But if you're going to play Mario, then punt it to him when the other team is not even covering the CBs.

Who will get the red first....ajax playstyle is so agressive without them getting punished by the refs. They either get the ball within seconds of losing it or they foul
