Another interesting fact about the mexican league is that 2 or 3 teams are owned by the largest Television Company in Mexico, Televisa, they are Necaxa, America and I think that the other is Toluca.

I was in Mexico when that last match between America and Pumas happened (America won) and Televisa and all their commentators were SO biased towards America

America is the only club whose home is Estadio Azteca, right?

Yeah, those guys are rolling in money.

Yeah they play in the Azteca

those Televisa people have money but nowhere near Carlos Slim (the owner of Telcel and most telecomunications stuff in Mexico among other things), hes the wealthiest in all Latin America... One day he realized he was tired of the same baseball teams so he decided to create a new baseball league so he founded like ten different baseball teams and he owns all of that

I will always remember him when he was commenting a game between Mexco and Germany... I think it was in the 94 World Cup

"Mexiceeee (he always ends up the end of a phrase with a "e"), Mexixeee is playing!!, How Nice is playing Mexix.... Goooooooal of Germany!!!"

I meant the commentators of Televisa, not the ones form ESPN2... those guys dont know sh"·$ about soccer...

Tapia and Randy Alvarez from ESPN are great, I especially like the nicknames that Tapia put to the players
