Hi everyone, I´m from Mexico and I support Cruz Azul. Cesar Delgado is by far, the best player en the mexican league, the problem is that he´s very expensive (12-15million), but he´s worth every cent. He can dribble past anyone and his crosses are deadly. He also scores some goals (8 in 17 games) I don´t know if there are videos about him, but if you find anything, see his goals against Jaguares and against Pachuca, they were awesome

He is a good Player. very talented and i guess we will see him against Brazil maybe on 9th of june. but the problem that he's position is occupied in juve foramtion .

we don't wanna get good players and bench them ?

i prefer Him instead of Capo & olivera too.

He's not playing against brazil, he isn´t on pekerman´s list. But we will se him in Confederation Cup. Cruz Azul plays 5-2-3 and normally he is on the right side of the pitch, but if he isn´t being dangerous there, he moves to the left

Actually, I would like to see more posts from people who closely follow the Mexican football league.

Good stuff :thumb: Cesar Delgado is an excellent young talent and personally I'd love to see him in Juve. I saw him at the Olympics and he was very impressive. He definitely has the qualities to play a Del Piero type support striker role as he's very skillful and has what it takes to open up defences. Dribbling and crossing are some of his strengths and he has a pretty good finish too. I'm all for signing him and loaning him out until he's ready to replace DP.
Wait a minute? I thought we could deploy him in midfield?

Yeah, he´s a support striker that plays mostly in the right, but he´s not coming, at least this summer, Cruz Azul said he isn´t on sale until after the World Cup. I saw him all the matches and he´s really good, he´s my favorite player.
A problem: he´s very injury prone, he is the type of player that receives 10-15 fouls each game

clever tactic by Cruz Azul managment, wait until after the world cup so his value increases and more potential bidders.

Hey I like Cruz Azul too :D

El America que chingue su madre!!
Hey, watch the language here, Fabi. I may be a gringo, but... ;)

In my neck of the woods, it seems most of the Mexican League fans are Club America supporters. But you do see a few for Cruz Azul and Chivas. The UNAM Pumas are way down the list, where I am more of a fan (and we have a bit to gloat about in the past couple of seasons ;) ).

:D I just said that because like a year ago there was this popular mexican song that said that. Esteban prob. knows it. I dont really follow the Mexican league, but if I had to pick a team itd be Cruz Azul and Puebla, but sadly Puebla was relegated last season

Mexican league is very interesting, they have a diferent champion every year

What I don't like about it is their relegation method... its VEEEEERY confusing.

And about the song... well probably I know it, but I heard more than one with that sentence Fabi, care to be more specific? :D
