Celtic maintained their dominance at the top of the Scottish Premier League with this afternoon’s handsome 6-2 success over Dundee United at Parkhead.
The visitors took a surprise lead courtesy of Stuart Amstrong after just ten minutes, only for quick fire goals from Efe Ambrose and Kris Commons to tip the balance in the Bhoys’ favour.
Joe Ledley extended the advantage with a curling shot on 33 minutes, Commons grabbed his second from the spot after the break and Anthony Stokes added a late double to complete the rout.
Elsewhere, Motherwell’s 3-0 home victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle means Neil Lennon’s men stay 18 points clear at the summit of the league.
