glad someone pointed that out before I did. And non believers get slammed without consequence, not religius people. Openly criticise a religion and you'll most likely get shot.

Not here:down:

Don't worry Lou, if you are intent upon shooting non-religious folks, you can join the ranks of other crazy fooking loons and buy a gun. Just don't start your spree with me, you Christian Taliban fooker. :D

Criticism is fine, however the fashion in which you criticise is another story. And yes I think you know what I'm talking about here.

    Very poor taste.

The only people that can be slammed without consequences: believing Christians (esp RC's) and men.

    This thread really saddens me.
You should have seen some of the posts I deleted here. BTW, the gents involved should be aware that I won't take repeats lightly.

I don't think the joke at the start of the thread is out of order.

    Quite true.

This is true, but religous people are often react irrationally to jokes that are pretty harmless. People like that are often far worse than those they condemn.

I don't know whether to happy with you or angry with you.:D

Seriously, though, these threads always end up stirring up crap. IMHO :)

I'm not talking about just jokes here that are quite obviously jokes...I'm talking about discussing beliefs with more than just a hint of superiority in the poster's tone.

It's one thing to say "I don't believe in God," however when someone states "I don't believe in God and you lot who do have too much time on your hands" is where the discussion is not just criticism anymore...
