Game was a farce. I can't believe some people are actually trying to pick over the play of individual players.

Still, conceding a goal from a corner is never good.

Very poor to go out this early, but the damage was done before this game.
:agree:

lets just hope that the german teams suddenly turn shit and the italian teams suddenly turn good. Maybe that way we can trim it down to 3 years :D

in all reality maybe it'll cause the stupid italian FA to upgrade the italian game. Look at how the germans invested in modern day infrastructure and look how well that has paid off, They have some of the best stadiums and attendances in the world, as well as a growing league and a great football culture. Italy has been stuck in the past being arrogant for far too long as it is, maybe this will change things.....

Agree 100% and the players know it, there will be no breakdown this year.

DN isn't some sort of special manager, Snoop. Much like Iaquinta isn't a special player.

Any sort of hit to morale could turn the team upside down again. It makes perfect sense to point that out.

There is no bright side to be knocked out of this competition.
Ofcourse there is, we won't lose other players for injury in the UEFA anymore, we will play less matches, fully concentrated on the league, playing once a week makes you stronger than playing twice a week.

Yes, it sucks that we didn't make more coefficient points in Europe, and yes, we needed it badly, but what is done is done, we will face tougher opponents once we qualify to CL the coming years.

We had tough lucks in UEFA, injuries and missing players (unregistered and cup tied ones), still the excuse is not enough, yes we failed, and specially at this stage. I question you this, what would matter if we were disqualified now, or two rounds later, other than coefficent points? NOTHING! They pay you peanuts for that, CL is different. No one risks money for peanuts..

It's not the end of the world, Del Neri took a hard job, you keep denying that, we had a terrible season, and wasn't easy to fix like Del Neri did in this short period. Why am I praising Del Neri this much? because I am enjoying watching Juve since a long time a go, we are even playing good football when we are losing points too (put EL aside). Yes, Del Neri is an upgrade on Zacheroni , Ferrara and Ranieri, he is a step forward, and so is the new board, you can say we started from scratch this year, because the 3 years after the calcipoli was a huge waste of time and money, and we are trying to heal the squad now, because of those days. Not easy to get rid of the bad players and build a new one so soon, what is done so far is something, open your eyes and see what are we doing! We will play in CL next year, I don't have a doubt about that, and if we do a couple of great transfers in January, we can compete for the title against Milan, since Inter's era is over.

And Iaquinta is a good player, miles ahead on your Amauri.

Congratulations my friend, you deserved to go through and we wish you all the best for the rest of the competition. Your boys played their hearts out in both legs and fully deserve it
thanks very much, I hope Juve is going to mess the things up at the top of the Serie A and show the strength ;)

Hooray. Lets celebrate.

Surely nobody will get injured in Serie A now.
i spotted your anger at the consequenses of the coefficient, and i partly agree on that as it is bad.

but i was wondering, the last 4 years, we allways had one of the subtop teams, breaking in the championsleague, only to get knocked out in the qualifiers, or immediatly in the group stages.

the so called "top 4 team" that ended up in the euroleague, then didint give a damn about the euro league, and crashed out in the group stages aswel.

now i was thinking, yes, we lose our fourth championsleague spot.
BUT

considering juventus gets championsleague next season, considering how much we could upgrade this team over the summer, and looking at the potential milan and inter have(if they fire benitez)..

a stronger juve would break balls in the cl, as milan and inter are supposed to.

and for a while, the suptop teams and roma, would be in the euroleague, so if they have a strong campaign, they cant hurt our coefficient by beeing miserable in the CL

so imagine if we did get trough and did wel in the euro league this year, but got injuries, fatigue and finish 5th in the league, having napoli and lazio going into the CL, only to crash out in qualifier and group stage.

isnt it a bit better then that, we lost a 4th spot we where bound to lose, but get a stronger juve, that togheter with inter and milan is allmost asshured to not crash out like idiots
and have the suptop teams and roma in the euroleague ? the more suptop teams here, the more chance the ones in form the season after are actually also playing in europe

just my thinking

come to think of it,the coefficient for Serie A when Juve was not participating in CL,so next year,Serie A will need Juve to fix all that, and Juve will do it..
it is hard to take that we lost out so early, but, with the players available,we probably wouldn't go that far in this season's EL anyway..

I fail to see in what aspect is Del Neri better than Ranieri, Snoop.
I think the "we're playing a better football compared to earlier..." is an overused sentence which is true only compared to last seasons and not the previous seasons.
