hey im not the idiot who thinks we shouldn't sign tevez cause of his attitude problems, but we should sign taarabt cause he's talented, forgetting that he has attitude problems that far exceeds tevez' and is no where of refined quality as tevez is neither. so if i were you id stop digging that hole of yours.
Did i bring taarabt, you are just trying to derail the real discussion, I forgive you. But please don't ever bring Zizou again to one of you dumb comparaison ;)

not derailing anything, i just find it commically ironic how you dont want tevez for exactly the same reason we shouldn't be after taarabt despite all your preaching for the player who is a far worser player than tevez.

i never actually compared zidane as a player, instead i said tevez is as much of a game changer as zidane was, which means that in times of needing a goal to win a game, tevez' quality is high and above anyone we currently have to provide us with that extra edge in quality. Tevez was one of the main catalysts last season in man city's success in getting them a champions league spot, so why are we refusing that opportunity? do any of you actually want us to play in the CL next season? by the sounds of it you dont.

So you never compared Zidane as a player. Interesting

So we are comparing Tevez with Zidane or Nedved now. Come on.
why not? is tevez not a world class player?

seriously if we miss out on this deal and come the next transfer windows people here bitch about lack of quality, i hope you refer back to this thread and then decide to delete your account.

We were never linked to Taarabt, I know that he's not Juve quality mainly because of his head but i'd ecstatic if we sign because he comes from my country and i'll be proud, I don't rate Tevez like you do and i said why i don't want to break the bank for a 28 years old striker who might want to leave after 2 years and we end with an unhappy overpaid striker.
And i lold at you when you said that Tevez could make the difference Zidane made when he went to Madrid and he will even comes at reduced price, so get your fact straight, the difference that players like Zidane makes are out of the roof, that's why he's one of the greatest ever and that's why players like him don't come very often. So please don't ever compare difference made by Zidane to the difference someone like Tevez would make.

you're starting to make out that tevez is an average player now. as i said before tevez is a game changer he has proved it with every club he has been at, someone like tevez would have made a lot of difference in the games against bologna and catania to say the least, they are the sort of games we need to win in order to get into the CL if you can't see that then you're more of an idiot than you were in the last post.

aguero better than tevez  oh please have you ever watched a football game in your life?

next you will be telling me that amauri is better than tevez or at least on par
I surely watched more than you did. When someone compares Zidane or Nedved with Tevez it's pretty much self explanatory.

what bit of tevez is a world class player like zidane and the other players you mentioned did you not comprehend? i hardly call that comparing as i said before, it is simply putting him in the same bracket, which means he is certainly amongst the top players in the world, just like zidane was in his day. That is not me comparing their playing styles and their honours is it? no!

Don't put words in my mouth when you know you said something retarded like what you said and Aguero is definetely more talented than Tevez.

You can't put them in the same bracket, Zidane was there with the likes of Platini, Maradona, Pele. Just stop it.

I am on Badass's side here. Tevez is world class and is much better than any striker in the EPL or Serie A(including and in-form torres or Rooney). Like Zidane, he is a difference maker but ofcoarse not to the extent of Zidane's effectiveness as Zizou was one of a kind (especially for France) and I dont think that os even debatable. Having said that, tevez has more than enough quality to have us reach our destination (that is CL or Scudetto) in the same manner that Ibra had more than enough quality to have inter and milan win all these scudettos and DP had the enough quality to take a calciopoli ridden Juve to 3rd and 2nd spot almost single-handedly.

The question here is not who is the better player but rather who can help us achieve the highest goals we can think about (scudetto). No one is expecting tevez to be like zidane.
Would Tevez give us the necessary push in quality to win the scudetto assuming all things constant in the other departments? Thats a definite yes and I would take the deal even if he will give us only short-term success (look at what eto did to Inter or what Ibra did to milan).

About Taraabt, come on man.. he would be lucky if he reaches the level of quaresma.
