Aguero is not better than Tevez. Tevez is a much more dangerous player and if I really needed a goal in a match, I'd no doubt choose Tevez over Aguero. Aguero may surpass Tevez in a year or two though. But at the moment, Tevez>Aguero

And to Melo, I usually think it's the top 5 or so for each position with some positions having more, maybe ~10 (CM, CB, AM, ST and GK)

World class fowards at the moment in my opinion are:
Messi
Ronaldo
Villa
Eto'o
Tevez
Rooney
Ibrahimovic
Torres (in form)

Aguero is in the group of players like Cavani, Suarez, Van Persie, Drogba, Lisandro, Higuain, Benzema and Forlan
Yes

He would be more than 30M + his current wage is 10M and with taxes it raises to almost 19M. I'm sure he wouldn't take a huge paycut, so we would be spending around 50M on a player who will be 28 next year, very capricious and tottaly out of form. No thanks.

He would leave it because some rich russian club can curently offer more than us, and I can't see him choosing us just because of our glorious history. People are fooling themselves if they think Tevez will come.

Sorry to say it, but you're a bit of an idiot. Since when is 28 old? Nedved was bought for €40 something million when he was 29. Ibra-Milan 29, Milito-Inter etc. Tevez is not dumb and he would know that no club is going to offer him €10m a year, especially any club besides city.

I'm sure having Matri upfront with LB and CB would be better than having Tevez.

Obviously you've never seen Tevez play.

You seem like an only idiot to me. I've said next year he'll be 28. And again Nedved comparison with Tevez is disgusting :yuck:. I bet you've never seen Nedved play. And yes LB and CB is priority, and believe me that Marotta will fix those issues first.

People not wanting Tevez here is complete and utter BS; the guy is fucking world class, far superior to anyone we have in the attacking department. I'm not quite sure what people are arguing about. If you want to compete with the best, you need to buy the best.

Not this Tevez vs Aguero again
You want to compare them again? fine!
Aguero is younger and in my opinion is better
I had no doubt Aguero would tear the premiership apart as he is amazing
Tevez is also a great player who rely on different skills
Dont know about you but everytime I see or hear about Argentina Tevez is usually the starter and when Aguero come off the bench he create havoc and Argentina look better (not mentioning the last tournament where Argentina sucked)

As for clubs I think its wrong saying what has Tevez done as he played for a an average City.
They started to be a good team last year and improved this year
Aguero has been at Atl Madrid who were a good but not excellent team and he got the Europa cup for them

In terms of club level they both proved to be great players but none really achieved any imprssive CL campaign or a championship fight since none of them had the team to do so.
This year`s City is their 1st test.

Imagine if Tevez which is highly unlikely comes here in january. There are almost three months till then. For three months he probably won't play a single game. What kind of motivation will he have to put some effort in training. I wouldn't be suprised if he gains couple of pounds like Cassano did in Roma. So when he comes it would take months of hard training for him to regain fitness, and all that time he would be recieving let's say at least 150 k+ per week just to lose some weight. We wouldn't have any use of him until next season, and even then if he doesn't leave behind his personal issues.

THANK YOU VERY FUCKING MUCH! if you of all people can see that then you arn't as stupid as i thought now, i mean considering how many here moaned about the lack of quality in our summer signings and with an opportunity to sign someone of immense quality in the name of tevez, they reject him I MEAN WTF DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY WANT HERE?

Like Tevez was any better. But please are you saying that Tevez is as good as Messi, Ronaldo. If you're not interested in anything else just look at the awards they've won or goals they've scored for the past couple of seasons and overall in their career.
Last year
Messi 53 goals
Ronaldo 53
Tevez 23
what im saying is at least tevez made some sort of showing at the world cup, whilst messi, ronaldo, rooney all choked, so dont give me this shit that tevez is not a big game player cause that is a absurd claim to make

Pepe shows effort every game so is he a world class? Just stop with embarrassing comparisons. Last time I've seen you compared Zidane with Tevez. lol

so tevez = pepe now? whole new low, im not even talking about player effort here, im talking about the impact tevez makes on the pitch.

hey idiot how many times do i need to tell you? i said in terms of their impact on the pitch, tevez and zidane are on a similar level just as tevez is with any other world class player for that matter, be it eto'o or any other big name attacker in the world right now, it is these sort of players that will get you the 3 points in tough matches, I NEVER AND I REPEAT FOR YOUR RETARDED MIND! NEVER! compared the 2 as individual players in terms of their traits and honours, don't make me repeat myself again, its getting silly.

You probably were looking in the mirror.
Tevez can not be compared with Zidane in any possible way. You're talking about impact on the pitch. Have you looked WC 1998 or EC 2000. I doubt it. But I guess you've never seen Zidane playing also so I forgive you.

for someone who wants to bring simone fucking pepe into the equation of a tevez argument, i can only pity you.

and for the last fucking time im talking about the impact they have on a team, stop fucking bringing up zidane, he was merely an example of a match winning player, just as i stated before that tevez is a match winner just as eto'o and many other world class players in the world right now is that so hard to understand?

anyways you and cheese can take up your pathetic taarabt and pepe > tevez argument with the other 99% of the members of this forum. There is simply not reasoning nor educating idiots, but thanks for the laughter

You missed my point, but hey it's a kind a habbit to you. You were speaking about effort, so look it up. And man you can only pitty yourself.
