Entering into a bidding war will not only hurt our economy, but many innocents can be swallowed in the conflicts. Also we dont have enough manpower or weapons to defend ourselves against such powerful nations. The worst of it is that after the war, almost always countries are left in a poor economical state.... Food, water, diseases amongs other things will haunt our people for the years to come.

Is better to avoid a bidding war.

Make love, dont fight!

Ideally we want to get tevez for as cheap as possible because of his sky high wages.
Entering into a bidding war which may cause us to overpay a bit more is not what the board want.
Lets not forget tevez is like our fallback option.
A fallback option? What makes you think Marotta is capable of signing something better, to define Tevez as a fallback option?? Hell, Marotta should enter a bidding war with Milan just to make em overpay....

Juve certainly shouldn't show any willingness to go into a bidding war at this stage.

Wait and see if Milan are genuinely interested in Tevez or if they are just trying to mess with Juve and push the price up for them.

Marchisio on Tevez:
"He's a great player, but to play for Juventus you need to be strongly motivated."

Auwch. Marchisio obviously forgot he scored 11 goals and gave 14 assists this year.
