These muscle injuries were a trademark when Allegri was at the helm at Milan.
It's the sort of thing you get from overplaying and little else, which is why it's no surprise to see Tevez pick one up at this point. He could have done with taking Empoli off, or a sub appearance, but we had no sub for him.

He did only play due to Coman's injury though.

Well what do you expect when you play him 90 mins every match?

Really starting to think this is a huge weakness for Allegri.

IMO yes.

We all want to see Tevez..but i dont get the overuse in serie A when we have such a higo advantage and our opponents are inconsistente as hell.

It doesnt matter what they say about that "we need to secure scudetto" excuse...we all know that they will not catch us unless we play our 3rd tier squad for all the remaining games.

Of course. If Roma wins all 9 of their remaining games they'll have 83 points. We have 70 right now. So we'd need 4 wins and 1 draw from 9 matches to win the Scudetto. If Roma wins all their games!

But I also suspect Allegri's staff has trouble with the recovery process. It's not like Conte rotated players any more than Allegri. Except this year there is all kinds of trouble. I really hate to see "muscle fatigue" because it just means the players are overworked.

Should never have played against Empoli seeing as Marchisio and Pogba played every game of the season to nearly dire effect. We got lucky with Tevez and and Marchisio hopefully Allegri gets the picture and rests Bonucci and Lichtsteiner soon. They've been at it non-stop.

But without Tevez, I don't think we could score just against any team. OK, I exaggerated a bit but there's some truth in it. On the other hand, if Tevez plays non stop, he'll eventually pick up injuries. Pick your poison.
