One of the best in 11-12 season :facepalm2: who said that? Did you watch him when he played for Parma or you just looked at his statistic that season which is extremely misleading. How about his performance this season, Vucinic is miles ahead of him, talent wise and contribution. The best Giovinco can dream of is becoming a next Miccoli not Del Piero.

And a #10 should be assigned to a most talented and influential player (forward) in the team. Who cares if his whole family support Juve or not. Plantini, Baggio, etc... are both not coming from Juve youth system. They deserved and achieved #10 shirt by their own talent and charisma.

He will be more than worth it. Imagine if Jovetic or Giovinco got #10, that number would crush them, since they both are not good enough to be worthy of it and are too weak mentally to stand up to it. But Tevez is the kind of player that sees this as a challenge and a token of respect from the management to wear such an important number and he will feel obliged to do his best. And on top of that, he has the ability in spades to make a massive difference and to truly deserve to wear the #10. He will definitely prove to be an amazing transfer.

What did Giovinco EVER do to even prove he is 1/100th of Tevez??? 15G11A at a Parma team that was built around him? Giovinco never won anything besides being a bit part player in this Juventus.

Kind of funny, since you are always the one that rates players on trophies etc. Go to the first post of this page and look at the honours of Tevez. Not only has he won a massive amount but he also carried teams many times and was extremely important for City firstly winning the FA Cup and qualifying for the CL and then even after his 'golf break' he was still a very big part of Man City winning the EPL. Giovinco is not fit to shine Tevez' boots
