I agree, we do need to sell a few players and it is one of the only legitimate criticism people may have of Marotta (his inability to sell), but when the opportunity arises to sign a world class player like Tevez, you need to take it.
When i said that Marrotta is the best sporting director in the world people were confused - pogba, pirlo, Vidal, tevez, lichtsteiner, barzagli for the less than 30m pounds lol

No, depends on tactic
if its 5-3-2 then they are defenders
if its 3-5-2 then they are defensive mided wide midfielders who attack as well
The point is us chasing more playes is not weird like rus would have you believe.

Ideally you have 2 players for each position.

Rwb: litch, padion, pepe
Lwb: asa, peluso
Cb: barza, cheillini, bonu, cacers,

I dont include isla, marrone and dc because they are likely to be sold.

So for 10 positions we have 9 players. It is logical to sign one or two more players there

Plus peluso can play as cb too, so what the point to spend another 10m on another cb?!

I see your point. The logic is that ogobonna is too good to pass up on and is seen as a long term investment.

there isnt any other areas the to spend money on really.

But he will show no progress because of being 4th choice and the lack of gametime, he is young and should play more instead of sitting at the bench, caceres and peluso are good enough to replace somebody in chiellini/barzagli/bonucci trident

Sure. But if he plays more then he woud not cost 10m. He will cost much more and more clubs will chase after him.

I would rather him play 15 games and sit the rest on juves bench than milan buy him for example

He is 25 years old, he have no time to sit on the bench, he should play constantly imo
And when we are facing Man Utd with RVP and Rooney, while Chiello is out injured, would you be at ease with Peluso in his stead?

As for tevez I hope that he will not cry because of rotation
You fear he will be rotated? SO we shouldn't have signed any high profile forwards?
