everytime i read an article about him makes me feel even MORE proud to be his loyal fan...

he always used to be my favourite football player, not only because of his football skills, but also because he loves juventus more than anything and because he is such a wonderful person.

i don't just respect and love him,but mostly,i admire him...

i wish i could have the chance to meet him...and to know this AMAZING person...
he is really worth our admiration.

have you ever thought, that if Pavel was in Moggi's place,Juventus would be the biggest world power????
he would give his everything to make us strong again

It may be good news from Juve's point of view. And as Juve supporters we all would welcome his gesture. However, i dont know the circumstances that have convinced Pavel to hang up his boots, but i do know, that the way he's said it in the press about how he should not risk himself playing for the country because Juve are his pay masters and how he wants to dedicate himself to Juve's goals this season. Well, im a little dissappointed by the midfield dynamo. As big a fan as i am of his, i dont think there can be a bigger honour to play for one's country.

He is the most loyal player for Juventus at the current moment. He possesses the qualities of a true leader. Not only that, but he gave up his international career, devoting himself entirely to Juve. I believe that Nedved should be captain for Juve.

is he really gone, i am hearing contrasting news.....

The match next week will be marked by the absence of captain and European Player of the Year in 2003, Pavel Nedved, injured during the fateful match with Greece.

Karel Poborsky will instead captain the team in his 100th appearance.

Brueckner insisted 31-year-old Nedved would be back in the squad for the Czechs' World Cup 2006 qualifier against the Netherlands in Amsterdam on September 8 if he was fit.

But he declined to be drawn on reports Nedved was considering quitting the national squad to concentrate on his career with Juventus.

"I see things more positively than the media do, I am an optimist, I think that we won't be short of him," he said.

i got this on a pavel fan site:

hmmm.. well nedved hasn't officially retired as yet and if poborsly stays then he might also turn around and stay??????
