It's obvious that Chiellini is going to produce those vintage performances from time to time but as I've been saying, you can't rely on a 37 year old for an entire season. He's well past his prime and it's so obvious.

This is the time to rebuild our defense but old geezers continue to take the spots because EURO 2020...

This team is incapable of creating any decent chances or proper attacking plays and can't get sufficient enough shots on target against the Verona's and Sassuolo's when chasing a game but you get to see fans here coming to shit and complain after a night like this about an old veteran like Chiellini who actually gives his all (altough more limited this days given his age) and who still did ok at what his primary task is which is winning duels and defending where he had no direct fault in neither of the goals conceeded tonight and all things considered should not be in the first place in any way responsabie or tasked with attempting to start passages of play after having already carried the ball to the halfway line of the pitch or to expect him to properly initiate atacking moves that should be in fact the task of the so called quality players who mainly tend to avoid taking any risks or responsability when things get tough, seem to be unable to control a simple ball or to have any vision or creativity of what to do with it when having to move the ball forward, lately even when they do somehow manage to control the ball they still manage to missplace the simplest of passes, to miss the easiest of chances or to even waste open field counter-atacks where we are very well positioned to hurt the opposition, and well yes, that as a result gets Chiellini to see more of the ball and try himself to do something extra in terms of passing the ball forward when others seem to be content with passing sideways and backwards instead, as sloppy with the ball as he might be at times he at least shows the right attitude, mentality and will to take responsability which we only barelly see from very few others in this squad...

Some of y'all are venting your anger and frustrations in the wrong place, this team has major issues all over the pitch but the CB's as they are atm with all of them fit are the least of our worries , however our attack is toothless and the midfield is even more clueless both in possesion and in defensive transition, yes the defence is far from perfect and age is catching up with them but even so as things are atm the biggest problems are still more on the attacking side where we look totally lost of any creativity and with very few players who can actually beat their man, create superiority or capable of taking a proper shot at goal when the chance does come to them.

OMG he's senior but more respect for our Capitano. IMO Bonbon was way worst yesterday however I wouldn't be so hard on Leo either cuz our MF was beyond horrible. We look a bit like Pirlo's team in the first half

#Chiellini to DAZN: "#Superleague? I spoke with #Agnelli for many years about a more European football: the #Juventus players are interested in that type of games. There are many teams in #SerieA: we need to increase the competitiveness. We never rest, there is no more respect. This type of football is unsustainable."

Deserved top 10 imo.
Disagreed, Chiellini didn't have his best year. He was good in Euro's and still is a top top defender in Serie A, but he's not the same invincible bastard he used to be + he obviously has trouble adjusting to VAR.

Just take a look at Chiellini of old, f.e. in 2017/18 he and Benatia had a monstrous pairing, this run of games here - 4 months, 16 games and 2 goals conceded. And it's not like the team was dominating all matches either, a lot of the times our defense was what saved our ass. And thats the last season of Buffon where many asked for Tek to become number 1.
