If our defense is as bad as it has been the last few seasons and Chiellini is involved in the majority of next season then we need to reevaluate him. We can't keep on blaming everyone else but not him because he plays a big part in that defense. Maybe we should start asking ourselves if he should be regarded as untouchable or not.

Defensive organisation is more important than just Chiellini, no matter what he does, he can never make up for what others in the team have decided. To give an example, Ranieri made Grygera-Legrottaglie-Chiellini-Molinaro the 2nd best defense in Serie A.

Chiellini needs someone to organize the defense but to try and get someone to replace him is a serious mistake. Maybe we should try something new and find someone decent to play alongside him. Maybe because he is the only one on our back line consistant in the last 3 years is the problem for Chiellini and not him that is. You ever think about that Sun?
