I think the whole Chiellini saga was made to make him leave and pave the way for Lippi to coach Juve as soon as possible. Blasi will leave too to make that go easily.

Anyway, Chiellini's agent Davide Lippi was yesterday in Manchester to convince them to increase the offer for his player.
If that is the case... I am all for it. We need Lippi much more than anyone else. The guy knows how to win.

If Chiellini leaves I'm very mad at Secco. What is the point of selling one of the best defensive talents of Italy and the u21 captain, who can cover 2 postions?I don't get it.
Leave Secco alone.

As a CB Chiellini can aspire to be another Materazzi in a few years nothing more..

and Pasqual is a far superior Italian left back, even Grosso..
Pasqual is great. Juventus should have traded Balza for that guy. It would have been a sweet dal.

I still think Chiellini will stay unless Man City offers more cash. Juventus would then be tempted to sell and invest in 1 or even 2 defenders.

I think Ranieri´s opinion and Cobolli´s and Blanc´s opinion differ on Chiellini issue. However, for the right amount of money, Juve will sell Chiellini.

Situation also depends on the true availability of Meira, Heinze and the rest of defenders Juve is interested in. Things are a bit complicated now but it will be all clear in the coming days. Too much speculations for my mind.

Let´s just wait for and see what happens and hope for the best. I personally hope we get another defender but not at the expense of Chiellini. I think Juventus should sell Boumsong, Legrottaglie and Zalayeta and invest in 2 defenders, like Zapata and Cris...... I´m not a big fan of either Meira or Heinze, although Heinze would probably be much more better suited to Serie A than Premiership. Meira would be a good partner to Andrade because he knows him but so would Cris (Cris supposedly doesn´t want to leave Lyon, that´s a shame).

What about Alex from Chelsea? He was granted work permit but Chelsea have Terry and Carvalho as starters and they bought Ben Haim. Do you think there will be place for Alex? If not, he would be the best solution.

Peace ya´ all......

Because no matter what, Secco is to blame. He might just have hurt his foot or banged his head against the wall.
Everything that happens in juve is automatically blamed on secco . Yes , at times he doesnt seem to know what he's doing but give the guy a break .
Its sickening to have to blame the same person for everything that goes wrong .
Its funny , but still , sickening .

Secco: “Chiellini is staying with us”

Alessio Secco joined the team in Newcastle on the eve of the Sunderland game, the last of the three in England and Germany. The Director of Football met Claudio Ranieri and the whole squad.

An interview with Juventus Channel provided the chance to assess the situation regarding players being sold or bought.
The Director of Football spoke thus: “The rumours about Chiellini leaving? There's no truth to them. Giorgio is part of our plans and he's staying at Juventus. Regarding any new signings, I can only repeat what I've already said in the last few days. We basically have all the players we need, but we remain alert in case there's any chance to sign up someone exceptional. But the team is complete and we see totally eye to eye with Ranieri on this”.
