But he really isn't that bad. He looks bad because the players around him don't always make themselves available to get the ball so he either tries to bring it up himself or sends up a long ball. That has to do more with the coach and the players around him rather his individual ability.
He's got the same problems when playing the national team. That means it's not because of the quality of the fullbacks. His problems is lack of skill, pure and simple, and that won't change regardless of the players surrounding him.
