I think atm he just isn’t fully fit or maybe not yet adapted to the new system, might even be that he is perhaps dealing with some personal issues behind the scenes that we are not aware about for all we know, either way i’m sure we will have more clarity on this sooner rather than later.

I won't be surprised if Danilo doesn't fit Motta's system as he is too spastic.

We don’t have enough defenders even with Danilo here. This feels like a squad they just want to push over the halfway line and make reinforcements in January. We’ll see in the final week but the squad looks so unfinished in defense and attack.

One lad actually brought a good point with Danilo. His 2026 extension only kicks in if he plays 50% of games, so I wouldn't be surprised if club just wants to leave this flexibility towards the end of the season.

i think the club is determined to not have his option kick in, so he wont really play this season unless hes needed. Makes me wonder why they didnt just sell him too. Maybe he didnt want to leave, but this doesnt feel like a fitness issue.
