Capello hints at England move Monday 21 November, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus boss Fabio Capello has today stated he would be particularly keen on a switch to England. "I’ve always been interested by the idea," he admitted to Football Italia.

Talking ahead of the Champions League match with Club Brugge on Tuesday night, Don Fabio confessed that while he is happy with Juve for the time being, he is still keen on satisfying his wanderlust.

"I’ve got a year left on my contract and I’m very happy here," he said. "I’m also happy that foreign clubs are interested in me."

Capello has ventured abroad before. In 1996-97 he took over the reins at Real Madrid where he won the Primera Liga at the first attempt.

But despite winning over the notoriously hard to please Meringues supporters, he returned to Milan after just one season.

Ten years on though, it seems that the 59-year-old’s desire to try new adventures is still burning within and, with his contract set to run out in 2007, clubs such as Manchester United will certainly be taking note.

"I’m happy with what I’ve achieved in my career," he added. "But it would be very stimulating to go abroad.

"At my age I’m always looking for new stimuli and I’ve always said I’d be interested in going to England."

-------------------------------------------

according to spanish media capello has allready an agrement for next season with Real madrid.

I hope this is not true, because this could mean that some players of juve would join him in real

PS: I hate Real Madrid more than any other thing on the world.:yuck:

Capello Set For Real Move-Spanish Media
11/22/2005 12:51:00 PM
Several Spanish media reports, including one by world-famous daily Marca, are indicating Fabio Capello reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid for a shock return to the Spanish capital this summer.
The news does appear slightly akward as Capello is currently dominating the Italian league with his mighty side and Juve are considered as one of the favorites to lift the Champions League at the end of this season.

However Capello isn’t new to shock decisions.

After claiming the 1996/1997 Liga title with Real Madrid after his first year with Los Merengues, he left overnight to rejoin AC Milan, the team that practically became invincible under his command.

A similar situation occurred with AS Roma, the team he helped reach the 3rd Scudetto of their history.

After a five year reign with the Giallorossi, during which many times he attacked the northern Serie A giants, and in particular Juventus, he ended up joining the Italian Old Lady in a move most Roma fans consider as the greatest act of betrayal ever committed against the club.

Besides Capello, former Bayern coach Otmar Hitzfeld has also been linked to the Spanish giants’ bench that has been slowly slipping out of the hands of Wanderley Luxemburgo, especially after last weekend’s 3-0 home battering on behalf of Rijkaard’s Barcelona.

Whatever. He's a great coach and all, but its not as if Juve would have a problem luring some of the top managers in the world to coach here. And as far as some of Juve's players going with him?? Fine. Let them go. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Emerson, Veiera, or Zebina to begin with.

Well, I can not say that I like him.I'm bored of this 4-4-2.The only bad thing IMO is that he will take some players with him(emerson???,Ibra???)

Ibrahimovic would have to be a real fool to go to Madrid... I mean, to play where in Madrid?
As for Capello to Madrid... don't know seems made up

Actually he can play in Madrid so easily, the Madrid forward's days are almost over and it is time to buy attackers. The midfielders are in excess there.

Exactly. I'm a big fan of Vieira though. I don't even consider Ibrahimovic that important. If I compare Ibra to Drogba for instance, I think Drogba's the more useful player.
