I tend to agree denco. You have to look at the performances of the players during the actual matches, not just some training session...and what sort of manager would not field the players who perform during the matches anyway? That doesn't really make any sense.
As for Capello being stubborn...in a way I think he is. He has fielded the 4-4-2 throughout the majority of his career, however he also played around with the 3-4-1-2 and the 4-2-3-1 and changed things up when the system was not working very well. So I believe it's a combination of both...Capello only cares for a couple systems and doesn't exactly know how to change a team around when we hit a bad spell.

A case in point, he went to Roma, stole Zeman's 3 man attack, by using Totti, behind Delvecchio and Montella, first season , it worked relatively well, the next season, he added Batigol and they won the scvudetto and what does he do next, he changes back to his comfort zone of 4-4-2 with Totti ann Batisuta and off cos we won the league then with Roma making a late surge for second place
Nothing wrong with 4-4 -2, if you have the player to play it, but we do not, we dont have a decent right back, our wingers are not really wingers but he is still persisiting with 4-4-2
Now another irritaion for me is that we have a problem with right back position and what does our "world class" coach do to solve it, he creates a case where we now have to problems, and i mean we now have Zambrotta playing on the right, off cos he is not that good there, and his replacements at left back have not been good enuff
So instead of having 1 problem we are now bad at both full back positions
And whats his problem with Camo all of a sudden? Kind of reminiscent of how he managed to get the best outta Mancini for 1 season and had problems with him the next season.
I do not like to read him say stuff like he hopes Camo finds tranquility at the Nt. what the hell does that mean? That there is chaos at Juve's dressing room?
I have never witnessed a situation whereby you sub a sub in consecutive matches, i mean its madness.
But you get guys on here blaming it completely on the player
And when Mutu scores a goal, he comes up with inane stuff like Its nice to see Mutu finally finding some form and getting back to his old self or something like that, and then in the next game he benches him or saying Dp has been looking sharp in training whenver Dp scores in a match he has started and once Dp's levels drop a bit he is subbed or benched in the next game no matter his form
