his versatility is his biggest strength as well as his biggest flaw...hope he has a good season 4 us though coz he is a very good player

I reckon Real's coach is probably the most likely guy to get fired from big teams this season. Just looking at their team, there is no way, they are stronger than Inter. I know its a friendly but having watching them play against Depor, there are some serious flaws in the team.
Firstly, they cant defend crosses for shit. Pepe looked susceptible to fast curling crosses. He has a tendency to ball watch a bit, and this allows strikers to peel off last minute. Secondly, midfield is mediocre. Because Gago cost all that much money doesnt mean he is good. Nothing special IMO. Lastly, apart from attacking department, their strength in depth is well, non-existence. Real got some good players this year, with Saviola and Metzelder on free were master-strokes, but again they are buying without keep thought as to how to build a team. At least, when Capello buys players, he know who he is buying and why.
Liverpool is a good choice IMO. I am interested how their signings are going to gel. They finally got world-class striker in Torres. I love the guy. Kyut is still ordinary and annoying MOFO though.
Milan, Inter, Chelski and ManUre got to be 4 teams to beat this year. I leftout Barca because they got Henry at wrong side of career, and scoring goals was never their biggest problem IMO. Barca and Liverpool are distant challengers to those group, followed by Roma and Valencia IMO.
More importantly though, I think this year's CL is wide-open because none of the big team looks formidable as they used to be. Its pity Bayern is not in Cup, because I would have quitely fancied them win it all this year. I think a team in France might cause a suprise or two, just a hunch.

Im pretty sure that Torres will turn out to be another Morientes.He'd stay for a season or two,and then he'd head back to spain.I think the sum that was paid for him wasnt good.Liverpool paid too much for a player who they knew had to adapt to differnet condtions.He does have age on his side unlike Morientes,but i dont think he's the 20 goal plus striker that Liverpool have so lacked ever since Rafa took over.The wise choice would have been to go for someone like Darren Bent who's accustomed to the conditions,and he would have costed much less either.Mido might have been a good choice too.
If Inter was coached by someone else, I would agree, but I don't think Mancini has what it takes to bring Inter to cl succes, maybe for them, a good coach isn't necessary to win it if their team is strong enough, but else I don't see them winning cl this year or any other year.
I say if Schuster is able to make the team gel, they will be there, but how good is he as a coach?
Chelsi indeed will be close also, forgot them in my previous post, I don't rate know if ManU can repeat their performances of last season, I doubt it, Scholes and Giggs can't keep going and they sold Smith and Rossi. I know Rooney and Saha are still there and they got Tevez, but is he good enough, he wasn't very convincing at West Ham ast season.
Also, I doubt Ronaldo will have such another great season as he had last year.

Attribute-wise I think Torres has everything to succeed in EPL. He is strong and quick-silver for a boy of his size. Furthermore, Torres has extremely underrated touch, and he is a great all round player. His goal-scoring ratio isnt as bad as people make him out to be.

The league statistic, which is probably more important than Cup, pretty decent ratio for El Nino, and given he is all-round player, I think that is good return. However, you are right in terms of pointing out concern. You cant read too much into statistic for a player that young, and who is constantly developing, but, his goal ratio has actually been declining instead of going up, which is contrary to what you would expect from a young player. I don't think its sign of downhill, but that is clear sign that he isnt learning as fast as I expected. Coupled with your mention of adjustment of different culture, it is intersting how he will be in EPL.

I just don't like Real squad. There are some illustrious names there, but I think they are void of balance, and character. For all Capello's faults, he is a proven winner, and he rides every single juice out of his starters to win the league. Real coach is unproven, and though he may be an excellent coach, being good coach doesnt necessarily translate to wins. Real at the end of day is all about wins.
I agree with you on Milan. Milan is stronger as standing pat. Gila won't have as bad season as last year. His career suggests he will score goals around 18-23 regions. I doubt Inzaghi will repea his heroics, but there is Ronaldo, who looked surprsingly good last year, though still needs to work on his fitness. Yes, they are THE team to beat in CL. I think ManUre will challenge them this year. C.Ronaldo is too good a player to ignore.
