Ex-Juventus boss Fabio Capello has tipped Inter to clinch the Scudetto and Champions League, with Milan their main Serie A rivals.

The ex-Real Madrid tactician is the latest expert to back the Beneamata to continue their dominance of the Italian game and doesn’t see his ex-club Juve as ready to challenge.

“Inter are ready to win the double,” he told the Press. “Their rivals in Serie A will be Milan and in the Champions League it will be Barcelona. As for the best signing of pre-season, that would have to be Roma for Ludovic Giuly.”

Capello was bitterly unlucky to be dismissed by Real in the summer despite winning the La Liga title.

The 61-year-old has now returned to Italy to work as a pundit on TV channel RAI after reportedly refusing offers from Russia and the US and maintains that he isn’t itching for a return a Serie A bench.

“I don’t want to be a club Coach again,” he revealed. “It would have to be a really amazing opportunity to change my mind.”

Meanwhile, rumours surfaced today in the peninsula that Spanish giants Valencia saw a £10m bid for Adriano refused by Inter President Massimo Moratti earlier in June.

He probably didn't have his glasses on when he saw this.

SerieA, maybe but they won't win cl, Mancini isn't a good enough coach to make that possible.

I'm not really a Inter basher but this year Inter don't stand a chance to win Serie A, Milan is gonna win it.

Really? Why do you think that Milan is better than Inter? IMO Inter have a better and longer bench and because both of them will play also in the CL, I think that this could be decisive.

And where is Juve? I still see some light at the end of the tunnel and if we could improve our defence, I think that we still have a chance. We are playing all friendlies without Camo and Chiellini and I still expect a lot from Tiago. And after all our team have only a few games together so I think that after few matches they will play even better.

the only thing inter actually have a chance of winning is the coppa italia and the TIM trophy at best, that counts as a successful season in inter's books, adds to their holographic pictures of their scudetti that they 'won' fairly

CL is a special case. There are only a couple of matches that are decesive. You need the right form at the right time and luck. Many teams are equally strong, so one big referee mistake or one bad/unlucky game means the end. CL is a tournament of chance in my opinion.

The league is different thing to a bit. Since flukes, referee errors, unlucky days etc. are more balanced over 38 games. And Inter has a great squad for a more longterm mission. Roma and Milan may have a first 11 that's equal to Inter, but Inter has much more depth and variety and therefore is a huge favourite to win the title.

in my opinion...i think capello is using mind tactics, in fact, i think hes laughing right now saying, "yea, sure, inter will win the scudetto and champions league", capello's recent interviews states that when it comes to inter, he always comes up in a way to make fun of them. why the sudden turn around and nice words ? praise them and even say they will win champions league...

nah, its got to be some sort of trick..they will feel like gods now and now that juve, the viola and milan are back without any bullshit negative points, thats when inter will be hit hard.

inter this season is not going to win the scudetto nor champions league..but i pity them, maybe an italian cup this season

yea right

Do you remember his statement in February 2004.
Motherfucker says,"I will coach everyone except Juventus".
That what he announced in February 2004.In July 2004 he was announced as a Juve coach.
Could I mention something else.
The motherfucker is a prostitute.
Who ever gives a money he is theirs.
Creep.
And his strategy 4-4-2 with ,at least million midlefielders ,is a century ago old and without sucess.
We,with him got ,maybe the strongest team in Champions league and we lost against L-pool,because of his tactics.
That is why he is fired from Real in the situation that Real ia a champion of Spain.
Fuck him.
Magnificent Moggi accomplished every wish of Capello.
I want Ibra,I want Viera, and thats was done.
The result in CL-nothing.
The guy is a crook who will tell you everything you want for cash.

I agree with you in 99%. The only missing % is that you say "We got maybe the strongest" I think that we have the strongest team. We have 5 Italians who won WC the same year, we have Viera, Emo, Thuram, Neddy, Trez, Ibra, Mutu... Our defence was so good that we shouldn't get any goal against Werder, but they were almost send us out of the competition. I never like Ibra (because he's got one move to much), but I think that him and Viera and the reason that Milan and Fiorentina start last year with minus points, bring that trophy to them.
