Juventus boss Fabio Capello has revealed his admiration for Real Betis star Joaquin and Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Ballack, fuelling speculation that they could be set for a move to Italy.

Capello paid tribute to the duo, but stopped short of saying that he would try to tempt the pair to Juve this month.

"Ballack is a really good player, he would be very useful to anybody. Joaquin is another very good player," he remarked.

However, Capello reserved his most glowing praise for Barcelona starlet Lionel Messi, after being dazzled by his skills in a pre-season friendly competition, although he did accept that the Argentine was not available.

"I would take Messi for sure. In August we played the Gamper Trophy in Barcelona and when I saw Messi play I couldn't believe it," he enthused.

"I shouted to (Frank) Rijkaard that maybe he should be loaned to us, and obviously it was a joke, but he was eager to stress that the answer was no.

"Messi is brilliant in everything he does. I have never seen an 18-year-old player like him."

If Capello really wants them I think he will at least try to get one of them. Until now Moggi has brought nearly all the players Capello wanted to Juventus.

If Juve were to bring those 2, the squad would be extremely potent.

But its the age old question again - How do we keep that possible midfield combo content? Do we wanna see Camo benched?

Messi is a fantasy!

Ballack would probably be with us in the summer while Joaquin is a very realistic option too
But the best of them Messi I believe its impossible

Stop this Messi madness, He will stay in Barcelona he's whole career. They don't need the money, he's a club favourite and he's one, if not the most talented kid in the world. No way we'll see him in black and white.

Joaquin, yeah if we want him we can get him, same goes for Ballack.

I don't want to see Ballack in a Juve-jersey, I just don't. I don't like the man.
Maybe it has something to do with my hate for Bayern Munich, which is stronger than steel, and the fact that he betrayed Leverkusen the way he did those couple of seasons ago...

I just fucking hate the guy, period.

I would welcome Joaquin, and of course Messi, but as you all say, the latter signing for us would be a miracle.

i predict... none of these players are going to join any time soon, we dont need either joaquin or ballack were will we put them? we have secured marchionni for next summer so why do we need them? mutu is a star in left midfield and if not there's marchionni who can compete for a place with camoranesi or mutu. Messi would be nice but we dont need him as well

Joaquin may be our priority now,
Ballack and Messi? i dont think so,
we have more chance to sign Galas than them...
I think everything depends on the players wich are gonna leave us(Zebina,Balza,Blasi,Gianni,Kapo,Zalayeta,Mutu,Emerson)

joaquin would be a waste of money...ballack could be very useful and messi would be great to get as he looks to be a champion in the making.

ballack for free and messi for the future....but this would mean nedved and maybe a player like del piero or mutu to leave.
