I honestly think I could cross better than Camo 50% of the time
What a bullshit. Camoranesi is one of the best crossers in the league, and for sure one of the best in Juve. You guys have short memory, cuz a bad game in terms of crossing against Reggina doesn't tell anything. You can't prove me otherwise, I'v seen many of his crosses and many goals that came as a result of them.

Capello is right, Camoranesi is extraordinary this season.

Ermm have you watched all of our matches this season? I admit Camoranesi's overall play has improved, but his crossing is still pretty shite. I acknowledge that his crosses have set up a handful of goals for us this season, but considering how many crosses he attempts, it's pretty hard not to get some assists here and there.

The majority of his crosses though, totally suck ass. If I could be bothered, I'd go through all the match videos and make "Camoranesi's awful passes and crosses" compilation. Most of his crosses are either straight to the keeper, too high for anyone to get a head to (and considering we've got man mountain Zlatan in our team, that's saying something), or those annoying low crosses that defenders can easily head away.

One of the best crossers in Serie A? :howler:

I can't agree with this. He makes so many stupid mistakes in every match! okay, he has great techique and sometimes manages to cross to the right adress, but he fails to do easy passes and runs out with the ball too often :) But he is extremely good to help the defence, so I'm not very disappointed or very happy. I still hope that Olivera will replace him as soon as possible :p

Maybe I think that cuz I don't like Camo, or that I really want to see Olivera play instead, since he's very nice to watch on the pitch. Olivera is better of attacking and Camo is okay on attack and better at defending :p

all i can say is that i've been quite impressed with camo's performances this year. again, losing lots of balls while trying to dribble or to cross, but he definetely improved from last season.
I agree:D

I agree, Camoranesi has improved a lot from last season in many aspects:

1) He's a bit more consistant
2) He helps tracks back a lot and helps the defense.
3) His fitness has imporved. He actually runs his ass off now whereas last season, he was the laziest on the pitch
4) His crosses are better
5) He takes more shots at goal and i think that has helped cause more trouble for the opposeing offense. This is very imporatant since Nedved isn't in a free/central role where he could take many shots.
6) His dribbling and even passing has imporved a from last season.

He still loses the ball a lot, but at least he helps bring it back.
He's still no Figo or C. Ronaldo, but this new Camo gets the job done.

I'm glad Capello has praised him since he deserves some credit for his work and improvement.
once again u said it all :thumb:

i 'm amazed with his improvement ,, mentioning c.ronaldo as one of the best is too harsh imo

Actually Graham, that statement does have some validity. For those who play primarly on the wing, I would say only Javier Zanetti, Mancini (Roma), Stankovic, Nedved, Cesar (Lazio), Jankulovski, and Jorgensen are better crossers in the Serie A. So if the best crossers include count em, 8 players, then he might be right. :D

Recoba does not always play on the wings for Inter; besides, he's naturally a support striker.

Zambrotta could be one of the top 5 crossers in the world, let alone the Serie A. Reason why I didn't include him is because he now plays left-back; should have included him anyway.

You said the best crossers......that has nothing with position the player plays. Zanetti spent his whole career as RB and Mancini also....

Recoba might be SS but his cross is one of best in a world for me. Besides,he always pulls himself on left side. Ah yes,we forgott Cafu :)

Jeez sorry, my mistake. Zanetti and Mancini have both recently played RW. Just thinking off the top of my head.

Cafu has even publically admitted he is not a good crosser. His low crosses are good but the ariel ones are usually off the mark. Recoba might be a good crosser, but he does not show it that often.

add to that Odddo and especially Emre but dummy Mancini rarely plays him. imo he has no weak points. He's special. He'll show his worth once to leaves for AC milan or ManU, since he's got the "Inter" virus at the momenent.
