I think bringing back any of these players would send out the wrong signal. I want a new Juventus with with a mix of youth and experience and I beleive the signing of the players who left would be a step back and prevent good youngsters (see Paro, Chiellini, Criscito) from developing as quickly due to lack of playing time.
Absolutely, I agree with your viewpoint.

you know what....... maybe i have had a few drinks and am a little bit silly tonight but JUVE ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If canna wants to come back, let the bitch come back he will only be admitting that he made a terrible mistake and insulting himself more than he would be insulting our club, same for any of the people that left us, shame on them

and i disagree it would not help people like chiellini, criscito and paro develop. Players like canna, emerson and zambrotta could teach them more in 6 months than they could learn in a whole season as 1st team regulars!

Good luck to them teaching Criscito and Boumsong how to defend. I want to see that.
Canna was important for the team, because he was so popular among the other players, he immediately became an "uomo spogliatoio", a leader. We need a guy like that in defense -currently we don't have one!

And how can Del Piero and Nedved teach anyone how to defend when they're not defenders?

i personally dont want any players who left the club. Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Emerson....sure, they are classy players who would make us strong again, but there are others out there.

We can get Samuel, we have balzaretti and chiellini, and of course grygera and Frings and Mavuba sound better than Emerson at the moment.

i am possitive samuel can become the new canna and get back to his pre-inter form

And I don't see anything special in Samuel duing his pre-Inter period. He was above average at Roma (Thanks to the sterile defensive tactics of Capello) and he was below average at Real Madrid, that's why he was usually sidelined and now he is far below par.

Another point here, how can the best player in the world be compared to Samuel?

samuel was amazing at roma, whats you talking about
At Roma, Capello used 3-6-1 formation, which is charactarised by having three defenders in the centre and a strong defensive supply form the midfield. It is a defensive tactics, even below average defenders would puzzle some people, as they might consider that the greatness of such a defensive performance is related to the defenders, whereas in fact it is all related to the tactic itself. Even though, Roma had a strong squad when they won the Scudetto; Candela, Cafu, Lima, Panucci and Zebina (he was in a good form). All the previously mentioned players are defenders and Samuel was just part of the whole performance.

By the way, Zebina was included in that squad, would you say that Zebina can be great once again?

And let's suppose that all what I did say is untrue, for a player to be great for just one or two seasons, could we even rate him for the greats? I don't think so.

when a defender does a stupid mistake, italians call it "zebinate" and that was taken from his roma days. zebina was a lot better before the injury when he joined us. and i never said samuel was good because he won a scudetto, why you bring zebina into this. the mere presence of zebina in the defence ment that much more work for samuel

Nope, you said that Samuel can be like Canna, that's mean that he is at least a good defender, whether now or in the past. By the way, Samuel is 30 years old, do you think that he can be like Canna in the few upcoming years? I doubt.

Answering your question, I mentioned Zebina as an example and nothing more.

like canna, as in go have several shitty seasons at inter, come to us for peanuts and get back to his old form again

you cant build a defence with punks, also i am not too optimistic about our purchasing power

I would have thought Ciro Ferrara can do a decent job at coaching young defenders.

i dont blame cannavaro for leaving .. i really liked him at juve he quickly became a fan favourite.. but why would he stay he has no loyalty to the club he was there for wht 2 yrs ... zambrotta was there for much longer and he left... i would take zambrotta back in a heartbeat though... i think cannavaro is over though no use of buying him back he should go to his beloved napoli there play for a couple of years and retire
