Cannavaro left the peninsula this summer after Juventus were demoted of their Serie A status and stripped of their last two Scudetti – championships which Cannavaro played a key element in.
“I won those titles playing on the pitch, but if the FIGC decided to assign the last Scudetto to Inter, that’s fine with me,” added Cannavaro sarcastically.
“I think Juve were punished way too severely because they won a lot and that didn’t make them popular.
“I don’t think Inter are to blame for the FIGC decision, but when I hear people talk about the Scudetto of honesty I prefer not to comment.”
Cannavaro is also expected to be in action for Italy on Wednesday when they travel to Paris to take on France in their second qualifier.
