Yeah, Moggi mostly knows what he's doing. But it's not like Marchionni is such a big talent, he's already 25 years old. Remember how good Camoranesi was at that age!

Mauro Camoranesi is likely to leave Juventus at the end of the season following the arrival of Marco Marchionni, his agent revealed today.

Juve won the race to sign Parma winger Marchionni earlier this month and the promising 25-year-old’s capture is likely to spell the end of Camoranesi’s days at the Stadio Delle Alpi.

"It would be typical of Juve’s transfer policy to let Camoranesi leave," Andrea Pastorello told the Guerin Sportivo magazine. "An offer in the region of £10m would doubtless be accepted by the Bianconeri directors.

"It has happened in the past with other important players," he added. "Camoranesi is highly-regarded by Milan, but also by Inter, who are known for their interest in wide men.

"Then it’s worth pointing out that Real Madrid and Barcelona are also keen on him," continued Pastorello. "I’ve not had any interest so far from Manchester United or any other English clubs, though."

The Argentina-born Italy international joined Juve in 2002 and, despite winning two League titles since, has had mixed fortunes this season under Fabio Capello, who has frequently substituted the winger during matches, much to the 29-year-old’s obvious frustration.

Marchionni’s agent, meanwhile, explained that the Parma star will be wearing the Old Lady’s famous black and white shirt next season.

"We have agreed terms on a five-year deal," said Bruno Carpeggiani. "Inter, Roma and Fiorentina were all after him.

"We have also been given assurances from Turin that he will not be used as a make-weight in any other transfer deals."

Actually I dont think Camo was such a big talent when he was 25
I started to notice his talent only from last year

That's exactly the point, Camo was a very late developing player, and I think it has more to do with what team he's on than him...

actually you guys are wrong...

Camo just didnt have the same chance as other players that grew up in teams like riverplate and parma and stuff.. he scored 48 goals in 3 seasons from his right wing position before being transfered to Hellas Verona where he was considered the most important player to take part in their success to get promoted to serie a. He played terrific football in Verona and even though the team were relegated to serie B, Camo got a contract with Juventus!

He had a magical first half of the season (if anybody remembers) he was sensational but started to loose form towards the end of the season.. then came the last year for lippi where everybody was crap, everybody but Zambrotta and then there was last year and this year...

so infact... camo has always possesed a great tallent its just that he played for Cruz Azul in Mexico wich isnt quite the same status as playing in Riverplate or Boca Juniors..

he came up the hard way ;)

I just think that Marchioni on the left, and Camo on the right is really nice for the next season! Mauro can play on the same level for the next 2 or 3 years I think, so there is no reason N.16 to leave!

well infact, just look at Camo's built in his first year at Juve and know, he is much much stronger than what he used to be. Camo was talented but was weak, i think the training in juve made him what he is right now. anyway i think Marchionni has the same amount of talent but maybe alittle faster than Camo and i think under Capello he'll be the perfect replacment for Nedved.

I aggree.. But if you look at most offensive midfielders from South america.. they arent built physicaly.. players like Deco, Aimar, Dállesandero, rhonaldinho (when he was young) and so on... I think building his physical attributes is the reason why he is more consistant then before :agree:

Its all about the overall impact of the move, if Moggi can offset the gulf between Marchionni and Camoranesi by spending the money from his move on improving the team overall then its a good move.
