I think that would be very tough to prove.

You would have to show that they did it from a financial point of view rather than a sporting one, and I don't see how you could do that.
That's the joy of the Bureaucratic nonsense that is the Treaty System. I remeber reading that in theory(but not abstractly) an FA can be deemed an internal regulator and as such 'fines' unlawfully handed down are proof of anti-competitive practices. The only real problem lies where you said, but it aint that restrictive

I would suggest the threat of such an action relating to anti-competition would be more hassle than it'd be worth.

It might be a useful bargaining tool to threaten people with, though, if Juve were chasing compensation.

Anyway, this is getting ahead of things.

Let's wait and see what comes from the trial in Naples.

I hope Moggi won't come back. What would that say about our club? When the cheater(?) Moggi isn't there then the team is shit. What if he comes back and we'll win the Scudetto? The talk would never end.
doesnt matter for us. Our aim as always to win. And Moggi is the best key to the wins.

Calciopoli: Evidence Regarding Inter Phonecalls Goes Missing - Report

By Salvatore Landolina
Mar 24, 2010 2:25:00 PM

Luciano Moggi's defence raise questions over alleged missing evidence involving Inter...

There has been another twist in the Calciopoli trial after new allegations regarding missing evidence came to light in the Tribunal of Naples, according to La Stampa.

It centres around alleged phone calls between former referee designator Paolo Bergamo, his secretary and Inter.

The court was told how Bergamo and his secretary spoke about a telephone call involving Inter president Massimo Moratti over a dinner he had organised in March 2005 to talk about refereeing problems he had become concerned with.

There was also an alleged phone call between Moratti and Bergamo.

But, when Luciano Moggi's defence team questioned Carabinieri chief investigator Colonel Auricchio, who was tasked with leading the 2006 investigation, he couldn't give an answer as to where evidence regarding these alleged phone calls had ended up.

The court heard that, despite the investigation, there was no trace of the evidence in relation to calls between Moratti, Bergamo and his secretary, and that it had gone missing suspiciously.

Suspicions as to the whereabouts of the evidence have been raised by Moggi's lawyers, who were keen to get an answer as to why the tapes could not be found.

The trial continues.

Many will remember Juventus had two Scudetti revoked in 2006 when the scandal came to light. Moggi also received a ban from the game which ends in the summer of 2011.

I wonder what Inter are thinking at this moment. I know that somewhere some people are starting to get nervous.

How funny would it be if hard evidence came out that they entire scandal itself was masterminded solely by Moratti...If we went to Serie B with a 17pt reduction can you imagine what would happen to them? :shifty:

I will take the Sneijder appetizer with a side of Balotelli and butter...1 Milito medium rare, a grilled Davide Santon glazed in a hint of Maicon...and one bottle of 1990 Rene Krhin please.

Think Inter have to much protection from politicians these days so it would be extremely difficult to relegate them.

And the FIGC seen how relegating Juve nearly destroyed Serie A and wouldnt want to make the same mistake twice.

Wheres Gsol at anyway?

Fingers crossed eh.

My EPL friends always call us cheaters and I try to explain to them but its like talking to a child.

So if Moggi is cleared and found innocent how will this effect us?

Moggi isnt connected to the club so wouldn't our board have to take the matter to court and will they?

My best friend is an Interista...Try explaing that to him :sergio:

If Moggi is cleared then that means technically we should be cleared. Since he
was the reason for our demise then we should be cleared too. I think we are in court appealing everything anyways.
