The team lost a lot of sponsorship revenue as a result of no European Football for two years and no Italian topflight for a season. The lawyers quantified it at about 230 million Euros.

I can't say that they will get it all back. It would be up to the judge and ultimately the money would have to be paid by the Federation since they are responsible for allowing an unlawful trial.

Financial Restitution is the repayment of funds lost. In this case to Juve from the FIGC.

Hey Gsol.. Hope all is well with you..

My cousin is a law student. I have spread the facts to him (I tried to be as unbiased as possible) and he told me the thing we all know:
1- Illegally acquired materials cannot be used as evidence in a court of law.
2- If no match fixing was found then how come there were penalties handed.
3- The things accused against Juventus, if true, are to be directed to Moggi and if at the most Juventus maybe given a financial penalty or points deduction.
4- Conflict was interest was found by the Tele com and the prosecutor general being related to Inter.

And many other points, but those are the ones I remember..

    He’s right.

The answer to the second question is stupid as hell but here it is if you want to send it back to him.

The court summed together minor infractions for the first time in history to achieve the desired relegation.

The verdict argues that Moggi attempts to gain an advantage in the standings without trying to fix the individual matches. The fact that this is mathematically impossible seemed to not sway the opinions of Guido Rossi and his handpicked judges.

So how do we stand with this suddenly appearing?:

Soccer-Prosecutor asks for six-year jail term for Moggi

ROME, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Former Juventus general manager Luciano Moggi should face six years in jail after being accused of using a player management agency to manipulate the Italian transfer market, a prosecutor said on Tuesday.

A judge is expected to rule in January if Moggi, his son Alessandro and Italy coach Marcello Lippi's son Davide are guilty in the case along with three other men.

The 71-year-old Moggi, already banned from football for five years for his part in a 2006 match-fixing affair, is also facing a separate criminal trial in January over that scandal.

Alessandro Moggi, who set up the Gea World player management agency, has been told he could face five years in prison while Davide Lippi should go to jail for 16 months for his involvement with Gea, prosecutor Luca Palamara told a court.

The six defendants, who deny the charges, have been accused of using threats and violence to make players sign for the management agency and sign for specific clubs so that Moggi's Juve side in the early part of the decade could prosper.

Juve were demoted to Italy's second divsion in 2006 when investigators ruled that then general manager Moggi was trying to pick favourable referees for their matches.

The Turin club are back in Serie A and have nothing to do with Moggi, who said in court on Monday that he never wanted to return to football.

A host of famous witnesses have been called to give evidence at the Gea trial in recent months including Italy coach Lippi, Juve's French striker David Trezeguet and England coach Fabio Capello.

Capello was accused by Palamara of withholding information to the trial and an investigation was launched into the former Juve coach.

The final throes of the Gea trial means there could soon be developments with the case against Capello.

Don’t worry about it. The truth is that Moggi and all other accused individuals already won the GEA trial a few months back when the judge declared that over a year of deliberating brought forth no shred of evidence to support the accusations. As a result the prosecutors are taking the trial to a new court and requesting that if found guilty Moggi should go to jail for 6 years. Their “evidence” was laughed out of court once already for being largely discredited and we can fully expect the same now. After all they have nothing new to present.

Gains: Juve suspected of crimes Moggi and Giraudo

    19:08, 17 November

Juventus is suspected by the Prosecutor of Turin for corporate crimes committed by top management earlier. It is learned today at the preliminary against Antonio Giraudo, Luciano Moggi and Roberto Bettega for the investigation into the so-called capital gains realized through the sale of players. The company white, in a parallel process, is called into question as "legal person" and, in case of recognition of responsibility, will be sentenced to a fine.

At today sought to establish a civil party to the FIGC, in addition to cones, the Agency for revenue and a small shareholder. The judge gave the defense time to examine the papers and submit pleadings until December 6. The prosecutor who coordinated the survey, Bruno Tinti, can no longer support the accusation because 1 / December leave the judiciary.

    An accusation of dodgy accounting.

Gsol mentioned it a while back.

They are trying to investiate presumed accounting fraud from god knows when. This less than a year after Inter and Milan were let off the hook after a judge claimed that accounting fraud does not constitute illicit activity.

In any case nothing will happen. The Guardia della Finanza and COVISOC all gave Juve a clean bill of health financially.
