Sacchi: Inter Are Like The 'Juve Of Moggi’

Former Milan and Italy Coach Arrigo Sacchi has slammed the refereeing from Inter’s match with Reggina on Saturday, describing the Nerazzurri as being like the “Juve of Moggi”.

This Serie A season has been littered with refereeing errors, many of them seeming to be benefiting Inter and penalising the likes of Juventus and Milan.

Indeed last month the Gazzetta dello Sport printed a revised table of where all the Serie A teams would be if no mistakes had been made.

Juve topped the table, having lost 12 points to rivals Inter due to errors. Since this report there was the controversial defeat to Reggina, which led the Bianconeri to write an open letter of complaint to the Italian Football Federation.

At the weekend there was more controversy during Inter’s match with Reggina at San Siro.

With the scores goalless, and Inter struggling, Esteban Cambiasso was fouled a few yards outside the box, only for the referee to award a penalty.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the spot-kick, and Inter went on to win 2-0, causing a furious reaction from Reggina President Lillo Foti.

"I never speak about the referees but on Saturday was old-style refereeing that I absolutely did not like,” said former Milan great Sacchi.

“We seemed to see the Juve of Moggi. Sadly in our country the small teams always get punished in situations of doubt.”

Luciano Moggi was the former general manager of Juventus, who was suspended from football for five years in 2006 for his alleged involvement in the Calciopoli crisis.

    Three things to point out.

    A) Sacchi made his career at one of Europe’s most corrupt teams historically.
    B) Sacchi never misses a chance to have his period on Juve because Juve thrashed them with a 6 goal route in the San Siro while he stood and watched.
    C) I’m happy to see that goal.com has now begun saying “alleged match fixing” as opposed to what they used to write. Maybe we got through to them.

What is the story behind "The Inside Story"? Does this mean that FIAT will sell Juventus? Maybe that is a good thing, since they are not interested anymore and they don't want to finance, a rich tycoon would give us a face lift.

I don`t want to see some another Abramovic here though.
    It depends.

If we had a guy equivalent to Moratti, who loved the club and was willing to put cash in, it would be great.

If we got some billionaire who was looking for a hobby, I would be against it.

What I was referring to was the involvement and collaboration of certain Juve figures in our relegation. Hopefully they do sell the team. Many think that but I'll only really be convinced when they are sold. L'uomo Nero would talk about it from time to time but he has since been censored so who knows.

Italian ownership is nothing to be proud of anymore and Moratti doesn't throw money into his team. He just throws it into further debt and then waits for the law on accounting fraud to change.

I'm not bothered about the owner being Italian.

I just meant that I wan't someone who is in it for the good of Juve and not for themselves.

He may put them further in debt, but I'm sure he would bail them out if he had to.

    300 million fans.

If only 50 million each put up 10 euros, that would be 500 million....which should be enough to get us a atleast a majority share no?

yeah but it's not like there is a deadline or anything right? as long as the money is there we can go through. Imo it's not impossible given how big of a fanbase we have, add to that the fact many people would donate more. But could we get that many fans to praticipate is the question.

Liverpool only had a deadline because they wanted to compete with other bidders.

You would have to set up a company and then get heaps of Juve fans to buy shares in it to raise the capital needed for any investment.

I proposed this more than a year ago. What if we create a donation account that Juventini can donate to. Can be done using CC, Paypal or a wire transfer.

The only way of doing so is that it has to be managed by the club and an organization.

Create a website, juventusmember can be modified to acomidate this. The organization takes care of the finances in terms of looking after the ins and outs from the account. Then A specific code is written that for an example this money is only to be used on buying players. This way when you log on to the website you can see how much are Juventini donating, how much is left in the accound (at least a Quarter review of the account)..

This way Juventini will feel safe donating their money knowing it will go to the place they want it to go.
