Rivals lead Juve backlash Monday 25 February, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus’ decision to submit a letter to the FIGC complaining about refereeing decisions has met with indignation from the Old Lady’s rivals.

The Bianconeri were left fuming after Saturday’s game against Reggina when they fell foul of some controversial decisions, culminating in a penalty award that cost them a point.

It’s not the first time the Cadetti champions have been on the wrong end of refereeing errors, but the club’s rivals are angry at Juve’s choice to submit a letter to the Federation.

“I am convinced that this will just put more pressure on the referees and make them more nervous,” Inter director Ernesto Paolillo claimed.

“Every team suffers from refereeing errors sooner or later but it can be attributed to bad teething problems for new officials rather than anything sinister like in the past.”

Ahead of Tuesday evening’s derby, city rivals Torino have reacted with little sympathy to Juventus’ complaints.

Poor Juve, having to be treated like everyone else,” a statement from supporters group Toro Club reads.

“For 100 years their millions of fans have been above all the rules and then suddenly they have suffered like everyone else has against them.”

Toro President Urbano Cairo [pictured] also feels that the timing of the letter was inappropriate.

“On the eve of a derby certain controversies are out of place and those that use that confrontational tone with referees should be strongly sanctioned,” he roared.

“Juve have their reasons, but it’s the same for everyone.”

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi also scoffed at the Turin giants’ protests.

“For me the letter is tactless,” he said. “If they want to moan then what should we do? If Juve wrote a letter then Genoa should write a book or a dossier.”

So lets see....
They say that what's happening to Juve is happening to all the others. According to them all the others are being continiously robbed by the refs.

Then why do they accept that ? Why don't they raise their voices ?
In the past they did it because, according to them, Moggi and Juve were too powerful and nothing could have been done. But why do they still accept this after Calciopoli ? Why do they keep quiet ?

Are they sheep ?

Instead of join Juve and raise their voices against the ones who're fucking them match after match, they attack Juve because Juve want justice.

Go figure

so the rivals talking are Interisti, Toro merda and Preziosi. Preziosi was indeed caught with real proof with a briefcase with money in it to bribe some refs btw so my comment to those guys would be STFU!!!

Now it's inter's turn:

Inter Slam Juve Over Open Letter
Inter Milan director Ernesto Paolillo has slammed Juventus’ decision to write an open letter to the Italian Football Federation complaining about refereeing.

The Bianconeri have been on the wrong end of numerous refereeing mistakes this season, with the latest occurring on Saturday night when they were denied two clear penalties in the 2-1 defeat at Reggina.

In total it has been estimated that Juve have lost around 15 points this season due to these errors, and this led to the club writing an open letter to the FIGC in which they basically stated that they were being deliberately punished by the authorities following Calciopoli.

Of course these are very serious allegations to make, and Inter director Ernesto Paolillo is shocked at Juve’s actions.

“I am convinced that this will just put more pressure on the referees and make them more nervous,” he stated, making it clear that Juve were only suffering from refereeing mistakes and not some kind of conspiracy.

Paolillo then went on to stress that the situation was not like the pre-Calciopoli situation, when Juventus allegedly influenced the officials.

“Every team suffers from refereeing errors sooner or later but it can be attributed to bad teething problems for new officials rather than anything sinister like in the past,” he concluded.

Moggi: Gigli & Blanc To Blame For Juve’s Problems

Former Juventus general manager Luciano Moggi has angrily blamed Giovanni Cobolli Gigli and Jean-Claude Blanc for the Bianconeri’s current problems.

Serie A is in the midst of another controversial affair after President Gigli and general manager Blanc wrote an open letter to the Italian Football Federation saying that Juventus are being deliberately being punished by referees due to Calciopoli.

The Calciopoli crisis in 2006 saw Juve demoted to Serie B with a heavy points penalty, while also being stripped of two Scudetti.

Moggi has always maintained that Juventus were on the receiving end of a conspiracy involving Inter, Telecom Italia, and former FIGC administrator Guido Rossi.

The former transfer guru also blames Gigli and Blanc for just accepting the Calciopoli verdict, and not fighting for justice. He says that their strategy of complaining about referees now, almost two years down the line is just a “loser strategy”.

“They have an absolutely loser strategy”, blasted Moggi.

“Cobolli Gigli and Blanc say that they cannot continue to pay for the sins for which they have already received a severe penalty.

“The situation today is that they didn’t defend themselves when they should have done before. They accepted the punishment, saying it was fair to go into Serie B with penalties.

“Their strategy was not to fight and to withdraw the possibility of going into the higher courts.”

Moggi stated that the strategy that teh new boar adapted in Calciopoli (refusing to defend the team by going to the TAR Regional court) has put them in a position of not being able to defend themselves at all. He said basically that the problem won't go away.

Furthermore Rebel, holy fuck where did you get those articles? Those people still don't have the slightest clue? The messina game? FRIENDLY! WHO GIVES A FUCK! and Paparesta? Jesus Christ he says himself that all that was bullshit! They call themselves journalists. I hope everyone that writes trash on Juve dies of AIDS.

The shit might really hit the fan in Italy. It looks like the Juventini have mobilized. I'm translating a letter that is floating around various web forums and Ultra Groups and even made it to Calciomercato.com

Various Ultra Groups in collaboration with DOCs and web forums like Vecchia Signora and J1897 have written official demands that are to be met or a mass boycott will be launched.

I translated both letters and copied all the addresses as well. Look who's getting it and what the demands are.

    LETTER OF PROTEST #1

With the present communication, we wish to express our discontent regarding the scandalous officiating of Dondarini that follows many other proceeding incidents equally controversial this season. As Juventus and football fans, as well as paying customers of the sport itself, WE DEMAND respect. Officiating like that witnessed Saturday evening, only prompts anger and violence, and encourages further ill intended officiating by brushing aside clear penalties not awarded as human error while preserving the status quo.

We are demanding immediate action regarding the officiating of our squad to the full possible extent, should such incidents persist, we are ready to launch a mass boycott through agreements established throughout the organized Juventus fan base of all newspapers, magazines, TV/Satellite transmissions etc that sustain the world of football.

    LETTER OF PROTEST #2

To the attention of the FIGC and Lega Calcio,

We Juventini, after witnessing the indisputable manner in which this championship is being falsified with officiating decisions that border on absurd, which continue to damage the progress of Juventus while favoring certain clubs, WE DEMAND that the FIGC put an immediate halt on the league in order to conduct an internal investigation of all directors, assistants and referees.

We the fans of Juventus are exhausted by the incomprehensible manner in which this championship has been falsified with the purpose of damaging one society in particular (something NO other season has ever witnessed). In order to see to it that our club receives the proper treatment we are ready, united and compact like never before, to take our fight with YOU the FIGC to the competent external legal parties that can ensure proper action.

Where your farce of a trial came short in ensuring a clean game, we the fans of Juventus are anxious once and for all to shed light on this situation with the Civil Magistrates, and other organisms of Justice that previously went ignored by some, in order to clarify the conflicts of interest that govern the game between certain personalities that fund our sport and their connection to our league and specifically certain societies.

We Juventini will not be satisfied with your senseless and incoherent explanations and excuses that further add confusion, nor will we tolerate your fake provisions for a better game that seldom see the light of day like the promises again made after the scandalous actions of Reggina-Juventus.

We are adamant that there is ill intent directed at our club and we intend to move forward in the direction of a concrete resolution in the institutions that can provide a real change.

We would like to add that the rights that our Constitution guarantees, with particular reference to the right to Civil Justice which were clearly violated during Calciopoli, will not be our only course of action due to our readiness to organize a mass and total boycott which will be extended to every single aspect of the football world in our nation which includes but is not limited to TV and newspapers that sponsor the game.

We are 10 million strong in Italy alone who have been loyal customers of your pseudo-sports world and know the extent of what a mass boycott could mean to you financially.

In closing we wish to express that if our demand is not met with proper attention, we will launch all that has been promised. We will not change our position by so much as a millimeter!

    Grazie.

    Tifosi Bianconeri

If the only way this shit will stop is by abandoning the championship, maybe it should be pushed for, cause the lega will try not to go so deep since they'll fuck up with Uefa, so these threats are what we need, though if we had proper directors none of this shit would be happening, and if we had owners who were interested in the team like Agnelli was rather than their pockets, we wouldn't have been relegated last year.

Gsol, Mark77, you're Canadian right? Most Juve fans in Canada either watch games on Fox Soccer Canada, RAI, or TLN, which u have to pay to get. If this is a serious movement, we should mobilize our Canadian support and cancel our monthly subscriptions. Take that eh!
