Chiellini's was close. I've seen those called and I've seen them let go. I think there was an obstruction but in those circumstances there always are. I probably wouldn't have called it. But that's me.

why do u think refrees are giving decision in favour of inter
Fear of being criticized in the papers if they don't. Remember who controls the Gazzetta and the Corriere are Inter VPs and team managers. Being the biggest sports papers in Italy I think refs are a little hesitant to go against them.

Why would you like him back ?
He'll start talking to you about Ikinci Abdulhamit and his Kurds, about Ismail Enver pasha, about the Young Turks, about Teskilati Mahsusa and about Great Calamity and you'll start asking for the sweet Alen to come back !
    I like it :D

Excellent work. The analyst states that since Del Piero hadn't lost posession of the ball that he could have still played it had he not been TRIPPED!

    Now the interesting part:

According to this video the linesmen was Danielle Coppelli. Does anyone know who he is?

He is the linesman that Leonardo Meani of Milan spoke with on the intercepted phone call about "keeping his little flag down" for Milan and raising it for the others. He was the one who's head Milan would "crack open" if he didn't smarten up.

Coppelli is also the same linesman that neglected to acknowledge a Reggina hand ball inside the 18 when Juventus lost to them in 2004-2005 and also thought it necessary to wrongfully call back a Juventus goal.

This is the incident that led to the famous locker room confrontation between Moggi and Paparesta where it was alleged that Moggi locked him in. Though Paparesta testified that Moggi never locked anyone anywhere it is true that Coppelli and Paparesta where yelled at by Moggi and that Coppelli was caught on the phone promissing Meani that he would behave in an upcoming match against Chievo that was rich with controversy.

    I rest my case.

When the ball is in the air, Spinesi in in front of Molinaro. When the ball was on Mascara's feet, Spinesi was fully covered by Molinaro. If you still have any doubts watch it again.

    Now the boring part:

If DP would have been tripped from behind, the ref should have shown the red card...
But he didnt see that, he saw the contact on DP and not on the ball,
if the defender tacles with one leg and hits the ball first, the attacker is supposed to avoid him and do not dive,
the penalty isnt valid both ways...

The ref has done a great job of hiding the ball from the cameras:p
i think the ball is in the air at this stage, the video shows clearly that Molinaro is in the same line with the attacker, their legs and torso are at the same level, only an arm and the head of Spinesi is closer to Buffon than Molinaro...
