Seems that the federal prosecutor is pushing for an article 17 violation for Moratti and hence his club, but the court needs to distinguish a clear article 17 violation rather than the lesser ones. July we will see the start of this case.

It makes you wonder how Inter can battle on so many fronts to deny their unlawful involvements, in Calciopoli, the Telecom Italia spying case and now a case of sporting fraud.
Yep, makes you wonder...and gives me hope :touched:

Screw the pessimists.

Jack, I am going to ask you something, but if you don't want to answer, that's fine.

Nevermind the fact that Inter are never going to be punished for any of this and nevermind the fact that we're not ever going to get anything back.

My question is this: do you think Inter are as innocent as they claim and do you think Juventus are as guilty as Inter say?

No, I don't think so. I never thought so anyway but at the same time I don't think they are as guilty as some members here label them and I don't think Juve are as innocent as those members make them to be.

From Gazzetta dell'Inter:

Possible consequences - according to a literal interpretation of the federation rules the contracts of Diego Milito and Thiago Motta are not valid due to a prohibited agreement. However it is difficult to envisage what might be the consequences of the sporting trial. The most likely option seems to be the suspension of Massimo Moratti, the less likely penalty would be the cancellation of contracts. At Inter they don't seem too worried, just annoyed. "I have not received anything, when I receive it I'll look at it", were the words of Moratti, while the company say: "We'll defend ourselves as usual."

Inter deflect so much shit they should rename themselves Teflon Inter.

So it means Inter can get points deduction? Inter and Roma are only separated by 2 pts in the last standing. And any deduction for them means the scudetto is won by Roma then, right?

What do u mean Terencee about the dirty money and Telecom Italia. Are our director get the money to keep silent about the new evidence in calciopoli and forget about what they did to us?

If they are found guilty (lol) of one particular offence they would lose 1 point for every game one of the two players played in, which was 36 out of 38 games, so -36.

The other offence reads like every game the players played in would result in defeat, which would relegate Inter.

Okay. I think we're on the same page here.

There's one other thing though: I don't believe Juventus should ever have been convicted. Especially not because they made it look like a legal case. If it was a true legal case it should have been treated as such and there was by no means enough evidence to punish Juventus.

And article in the Italian federation that rules for punishments as my previous post.

Mark, any truth to this 'rumour' that Abete asked Carraro for help for one unnamed Serie A team that is about to be released as an interception?

Inter under investigation

FIGC to look into Milito and Motta transfer

Milito: Transfer under investigation

The Italian football federation (FIGC) have confirmed they are investigating possible transfer irregularities after Diego Milito and Thiago Motta moved from Genoa to Inter Milan.

The FIGC confirmed they will question the presidents of both clubs over the double transfer which took place at the end of the 2008-09 Serie A season.

The case centres around the involvement of Genoa owner and president Enrico Preziosi, who is banned from footballing activities for five years, but has claimed to have instigated the sale of the duo to Inter.

Milito played an integral part in Inter's treble-winning season last term, scoring 30 times as the Italian giants scooped the UEFA Champions League, Serie A and Coppa Italia titles.

Bribing

A spokesperson for the Italian federation confirmed that their disciplinary committee have called Preziosi and Inter president Massimo Moratti up for questioning and revealed that more information will be forthcoming.

However, she refused to comment on reports suggesting the Nerazzurri could be stripped of one of their titles.

Preziosi was handed a five-year ban in May 2005 after he was found to be heavily involved in the club bribing Venezia to throw a match against Genoa.

The Grifone, who had just been promoted to Serie A for the first time in 10 years, were relegated to the third division.

The FIGC have known about a possible contravening of the ban for almost a year after Preziosi told local TV channel Telenord: "I saw Moratti at breakfast, we reached an agreement on the valuation of the two players and we shook hands.

"Between us there is a lot of sympathy and there could be other collaborations in the future."
